radio fix or restore radio?

does any had try to restore a corrupted radio in the beetle device or how to made it u had the hp hw6515b and it had corrupted radio any suggestion?

Somepeople have suggested erasing the sectors housing the radio rom then reflashing the radio from from the above link. However noone has dared to try it.
