Constant Email Notification

Does anyone know how to stop this :confused: im not sure whether its my device or just a gernal setting but i have a Universal and i have 10 unreal emails (gmail) and every 30 seconds or so i get told of a new email message (sound plays and vibrates)

I cant seem to find any settings which relate to this, unless im doing something wrong?

Ideally i dont want to be told every 30secs i have a new email as the orange light is flashing which is all i need.


Any help would be great
