I will try to install some apps on it and test it some more but i'm liking what i see so far.

The WIFI is still the same as the rest. Turn on Wlan then turn it off. Then activate it via the comm manager. I haven't tested the Bluetooth as yet.


It would be nice if a release of goodies/cab files came for this rom such as the htc home, dial pad, etc..

Yes i did use some of the cabs, i use the touch dial and the skin for the calculator. I'm also using the Htc home 2.0 that Xplode release but i believe it would be better if it were green. The black and green is a very good combination with the dial pad tho.

Its pretty interesting.

I also tried to install the touch flo cab but it wasn't working correctly. I read somewhere in the first post that full screen wasn't working correctly.

Not with the new version 2 of the home plug.
it works with WMP, even the display on the 'music' tab shows song name etc no need for audio manager unless you prefer it of course... :)

Thanks a lot for this great Rom mate, I think I've flashed every ROM that ever came out for the QTek 9090 but this is really the first one that works this good and fast, thanks for that...

Perfect would be if indeed the powerpoint and mms cabs were included already but this is easily resolved by installing them afterwards of course...

Anyway thanks a lot man for this great release, it's the first one that synchs this fast on activesync 4.5 (still don't know how you managed to do this :-) )

you can do this by going into the menu > options in messaging app and disabling the show list of accounts on startup - i think thats right, will check once my BA finishes flashing this rom :)

My question is that I can't seem to be able to install other Themes for WM6. Normally I just copy them across and click on them and they appear in the selection in the Today options.

Is there any reason why this won't work with this ROM?

I have removed it from my ROM because I tried many times but it didn't work. That the reason why! Our BA Flash is so small (32Mb), I must to remove some app not use.:)

1 and 2 are not work in Vietnam as well, so may be Minh Anh did not want to add them in this ROM

Ok...I installed the cabs founds on HELMI/XPLODE cabs and it worked fine for me regardind problems number 2 and 3.
For the MMS I tried everything but nothing worked, anyway it didn't work in any other rom WM6, for me....

This ROM is the best till now...I can't sleep waiting the new ROM updated.

Simply beautiful! When the genius hemli and maimach and their crew came out with wm6 for the BA the rom was amazing. I didnt think anything could top that until i tried this rom. It is a very much improved being more stable and faster than the previous wm6 rom. I can not wait until the final rom from pdaviet comes out.

PDAVIET Thanks for your great work, Its is stable and fast rom using for 2 days now, no major issue only my phone volume is to low, im using 1.12 radio rom version. Fixsounds from helmi cabs install still same, dps software installed works great with audiomeneger for high treble and bass but not with phone sound. Is there any fix for this sound issue?

I've had the same issue, it's caused by the fact that and outbound connection is made with one receiver and the second won't connect anymore, I've resolved it in my way, I de-activate my BT on my PDA, I power my car kit and this one makes a noise like it can't connect, like this he's still turned on but doesn't search for pda anymore, now I power my tomtom navigator which automatically powers on BT and this one automatically connects my gps receiver and my car kit...

I do realise it's a long way around but the only solution I found since I move on to WM5 and upwards...

Thanks, thats a long way... Its strange, i didnt had this problem on WM5 or Helmi's WM6. I will test with xplode Rom.

Well I'm actually using XPlode's rom and the same issue,

To my opinion it's the rom that can only make 1 incoming connection, and seen that tomtom connecteds outbound it works, because another way to make it work is to first have your pocket connect towards your phone kit, so make the Blue Angel look towards the kit via the BT menu in connections and then connect it and then connect your antenna, this will work as well...

use the helmi broadcom BT fix, it works fine. Although after I used it tomtom does not auto turn BT on, I must turn on manually. Its working with multi connections no special start up is required.

So i just map VJvobulis to a hardware button to switch the BT on.

I even tried the BT fix Helmi gave but that didn't change anything for me, I'm using a CK-7W car kit from Nokia (I know, used to be a Nokia guy) and a TomTom BT receiver... The only solution up to now I described above, it only worked perfect for me on WM2003 :-) But that's nooo longer an option :-))

Yess finaly a great WM6 release. I love it, it's very fast (even faster than the original newest version of T-mobile wm2003) and stable. I got problems with this version (5.2.1933). The first one was with the phone function. I couldn't turn it on :/ And the other one is that I can't use Activ sync. But after one hour I'm with the new version (ROM v5.60.02 PDAVIET CHO HTC Blue AngelCE OS 5.2.1948 Build 18548.0.7.2) and now it is with new Comm Manager and now I can turn my phone function :) But I still cannot sync with Activsync. When I put my pocket in the cradle activsync shows connecting... for 1min and then Error. I reflashed the pocket with the ROM but I still cannot sync. Anybody help ? :(
EDIT: Problem solved, it was because of my firewall.
