No one is looking into it at the moment.. I'll ping olipro and get his take on things. I'm stuck with a bum radio myself.

yeah i remember you are the guy that was going around these forums posting posts about upgrading radios, asking others what radio they use, and posting how you weren't exactly happy with the Hermes radio
They moderator should delete all of you radio posts out there so people dont experiment with the wrong radio ROM and have the same problem.

You're amusing. Anyway.
There's at least 5 different radio versions oot'n aboot which folks can try out that are not based on radio bootloader 0108 and are safe to flash, unflash, reflash, deflash, and flashflash. Those are the radios from the plethora of Treo WM6 releases from the carriers. I'd still like to hear people's experience with them. I think I'll start another radio thread in your honor.
Hermes radios after a particular version *do* include radio bootloader 0108, which means they can't be replaced on the Treo at the moment, and that's been pretty well discussed. The Treo bootloader can't respond to a particular command that the 0108 radios issue to do a sort of crappy authentication.
The radio I am currently stuck with happens to be the product of using my Treo as the guinea pig for Olipro's unlocker dev. The martyer so to speak. The lab rat. The sacrificial lamb and so forth and what have you. I'd be thrilled to be stuck with the standard Hermes radio, but my current radio is patched to enable particular functions at the expense of performance.

Actually if people read my questions, they will gather that changing radio ROMs right now is not a good idea. I think that this is why we have this forum, to read and learn, and to wise crack every once in a while.

Now it is I who is amused and flattered that you will start a thread in my honor.

Well at least we can't blame this lack of sink on WM6 ROMS
