New Rom Released..

NOT FOR ATOM EXEC NOR HP6800 SERIES.

First of all this ROM is basically an extension over JIGGS AKU 0.7 ROM ..
Thanks to Jiggs() , medkid(wonderful tutorial) , Garmin (Thanks Mate!), abusalza for his kitchen and all the other community members:)

The Rom is 6MB PAGEPOOL.... and includes the following.. :-

1. HTC DIALER (comes pre-installed)
2. Total Commander
4. HTC communication manager(thanks ckaidi)
5. S2U2 (Thanks A_C ,Comes with Custom HTC theme again pre-installed)
6. Network wizard
7. WM5torage 1.78 beta 2
8. HTC keypad , HTC Keyboard(with T9 Input )
9. Some registry tweaks(basically copied from ckaidi's ROM:D )
10.Ok , now the BIGDEAL , as soon as you are over with installing all the Apps included in the ROM , THE HTC CUBE WORKS (WITH FINGER ACTIVATION ,NO NEED TO DELETE STARTUP ITEMS OR ANYTHING):)
11.HTC Audio Manager and the Plugin..
12.FINGER SCROLL CONTACTS , comes pre configured with default softkey etc..(icontacts )
13.Many other Misc. add-ons also included[/SIZE]



So Basically it has all the things based on HTC TOUCH available for our atom

As you know this is MY FIRST ROM , i ll be very glad if some of you do go ahead and try it out and let me know how it goes...

The free RAM is about - 20 -22 MB(with cube , S2U2 , and HTC HOME running)
Free Storage :- 35 Mb.

Now to installation part -

1. Put device to bootloader mode: (CAMERA+RESET)
2. Connect device to PC under Windows XP using USB cable
3. Run the executable ATOMWM607...EXE
4. Follow on-screen procedure

After installation is complete , on the first boot you will be asked to install programs , please dont skip any one of them as this may result in malfunction ..:p , and also install 1 , 2, 4 .cab files on your phone memory when prompted

After all the programs are installed and you have rebooted once ..
Go to Programs MENU and open SIM MANAGER ,copy all your contacts to phone memory .
NOW REBOOT AGAIN..


After this you are all set to go , the left softkey opens up communication manager , the right key opens up the new contacts application .

A LEFT TO RIGHT MOVEMENT ON THE SCREEN WOULD RESULT IN OPENING OF THE CUBE.

Further Advice :-
1. After installing go to today > plugins and disable wireless..
2. Go to Programs > Accesories > IM SELECTOR and choose the keyboard of your choice..
3. I have also included Flash Video Bundle in an seperate folder when you UNRAR the rom ... you can install it along with TCPMP player to view sites like Youtube etc..

So i am now uploading and the link will be up soon also , will be posting some screenshots..

Side Note: This will not SIM unlock or change your mobile serial no. (IMEI) in any way. You can flash back to original ROM anytime! Do not attempt to flash this on ATOM EXEC! @icecool -- Mate , have you installed all the Cabs??(1 , 2 , 4 from extended ROM) on your phone memory , if so please try and use your stylus and move it from left to right in middle of the screen , that will activate the CUBE :)

You have done a blunder mate , please never flash an ATOM EXEC ROM on your ATOM as this will cause the Bootloader to malfunction ..
However a fix for this is available -- Check out the ATOM WIKI page - The Fix is somewhere there

Hey mate firstly good work with the ROM, keep it up the more ATOM developers around the better so i take my hat off to you.

I have installed the ROM and unfortunately the HTC cube is not behaving as it should. I have had the JIGGS WM6 roms running on my ATOM without any hiccups.

When i strike the stylus left to right on the screen it occasionally displays the cube. That is a good start, however once you try to scroll through the cube it just hangs and does not respond any longer.

I have found other functions to be a bit sticky on navigation as well.

Followed the steps correctly and have reflashed twice but the ROM just isnt working as it should. I have seen a number of prophet touch ROMS working and they are fast and slick even though the cube interface.

Good work mate and keep battling away i am sure we will all have a variety of touch ROMS to play with quite soon....

^As the cube is n BETA stage , the movement is not smooth rather than using your finger you can use the stylus which would result in better functioning ...
Could you please also update me on other errors ... As for navigation the ROM would work very smoothly if CUBE is not installed but since a lot of people here are interested i thought of including it..
I can tell you some other senior members will be coming out with Touch ROM's soon along with me ......so keeping checking the forum's for better working ROM's

The cube seems to have a mind of its own as well.. It only activates 1 in every 10 shots.

You are correct navigation through the OS does seem to work quite well, the slide to unlock is a little buggy as well, but i really like the look and thanks for sharing with us...

I will have a bit more of a play and see what else i can notice that isnt quite right..

Hey , i have been playing with the ROM , as u have stated the cube is a bit buggy. But i found that the contacts and the wireless manager work great..

For that default contact is included , add in it (its there on the start menu :) )

@ udayrulz: Thx alot, man so the contacts you built is for searching only, and the default contact is for adding new, I see, your first room like this is good enough, man, I think it will be alot better in next release, I'll be one of your first testers of next release ;)

The today theme chooser... I don't know if it's possibly an error, when I press "OK" to apply the theme, sometimes it only close the theme choosing windows and the theme was not applied, and everytime it work is like, after pressing "OK", the "OK" button was replaced by the "X" button and then I press the "X" Button again, the theme was applied (somtimes the theme was only applied on desktop background, not affecting the System menu bar) and the theme choosing windows was close. This error didnt make my device hang up so that's ok for me, but I just tell you the situation so you can do a little fix in the next release ;)
Another problem, Spb Pocket plus 4.0.0 can't seem to be install (When my device begin to install it, it come out with Spb Pocket plus installing failed), but the Spb Pocket plus 4.1.0 beta 2 intalled and worked just fine, Is there a way to explain that?

will you migrate the same function to the new core ? It is very funny for me every time I use the finger to scroll the menu. But one more thing is the cube rom memory seems not enough to run, So will you consider take out some program to extend rom for option chose (game Ect....)

When I was using AKU070 from jiggs, there were quite a few more ringtones to pick from.

Second, is about you ROM especially for The CUBE,.

I do promise to you that i will give my ATOM TOUCH ROM for testing to you several days ago right? then why i didnt do that, is because the cube isn't working well,. while other apps working fine,.

1st:
It may cause our atom dont have the touch screen driver like another (that known as HTC phone), while another touch screen driver, wont work for our atom,.

2nd:
It may cause our ATOM doesnt use TI OMAP architecture so either way OEM Touch Cube wont work with us,.

3rd:
It may cause our atom dont have memory that big, it have 4mb and more for ather application, we have to delete more and more apps to have that 4mb in our ROM,.

well,.
I read that Kona_ found a sollution for the 1st or the 2nd problem for the cube,. :)

I think that we could wait for the final solution found by Kona_ then release a new ROM,. :o

i found only one Bug i dont no whether its only in my case or anyother also face same

1) when phone ringing for some number name of the person not display even if name is stored in phone book it display (unknown)

2)and mobile get little bit slow

3) moving of cube is less sensitive we have to move thumb lots of time then only screen move

These are the problam which everyone facing but one new which i found is tht
When i try to check by balance its not getting possible throungh *123# on airtel USSD info screen will (waiting for response ) comes no info regerding balance so plz when u go for new rom plz keep this in mind
i try this many time and when i flash bach to previous one's by jiggs iam able to check the balance.:(
but still i like this rom hope this bugs will be resolved soon waiting for new rom eagerly
