NOTE: The installs have been digitally signed for your confidence and safety!
(Digital Serial Number: ec b8 10 3b e7 65 19 ba 4f 05 48 14 e3 34 97 61)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How-To Verify a digitally signed file against a known serial number
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1
Download the file you wish for your device.
(i.e. "JASJAR_WWE_20108_20301_11300_wwe_ship.zip")
Step 2
Unzip the download.
(double-click the ".zip" file and then click on "Extract all files")
Step 3
Open the directory that you un-zipped the download to.
(i.e. folder "JASJAR_WWE_20108_20301_11300_wwe_ship")
Step 4
Locate the InstallSheild setup program in the ROM folder, then right-click it and choose "Properties".
(i.e. "JASJAR_WWE_20108_20301_11300_wwe_ship.exe")
Step 5
Once the file properties is open select the "Digital Signatures" tab, then in the "Signature List" double-click the "HTCCertificates signing authority" signature.
Step 6
Once the "Digital Signature Details" is open select the "Advanced" tab then compare the "Serial number" with the known one.
(My S/N: “ec b8 10 3b e7 65 19 ba 4f 05 48 14 e3 34 97 61”)
Step 7 (Results)
If the serial numbers match then rest easy because you are using a "TRUE" Jwrightmcps ROM that has not been altered and is virus-free.
If the serial number does not match then it is not my original work and should not be used!
NOTE: I did this is case these files make it onto other sites, it will give you guys a way to tell if it is really mine or not. I will always use this serial number (ec b8 10 3b e7 65 19 ba 4f 05 48 14 e3 34 97 61) from now on to sign all my work, so please make note of it!

If there was Video Call JW would not forget to mention it.
Besides, and unfortunately, he doesn’t have VC in the US, so it’s a little difficult to test it…

I am going to start looking into the issue again (when time permits).
From what I could tell it appears that the SDK the original VC was created with was for PPC2003, so I would suspect that this is the reason the drivers are not working correctly anymore...
Also I was recently reading up on the new RTC SDK for WM6 and there are a few things that I would like to try once things slow down for me here. I would also like to have Beast and Leo in on this too, since they have put so much time into trying to solve it already.
Maybe when we all get some free time we'll work on the project together...
Take care,

Those are very good news!
I will try your new version now and won't set a password to see if the password problem happens again. If it happens then I will set it as it seems to fix it (at least it didn't happen after I set a password as you suggested, thank you once again:) ).
Thanks for your work with almost perfect ROMs!

Hi all,
Is it possible to just have the nk.nbf? It's much easier to flash that way. I am having troubles with Windows Installer and I can't extract the nk.nbf file. Thanks!

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the new ROM. Is it possible to provide Flash Disk support for the G3 devices?
That extra memory storage in the Universal is highly needed!
Thanks in advance,

I wish you can provide Real VGA, since I am getting use to it and also if you could replace “Adobe Reader” with “XPDF”. It would be nice if you can just upload NF.NBF file too for those who doesn’t want to change their Radio. Thank you and I do hope to see Video Call working someday.:)

Go to the temporary folder created by the installer and get the file you need.

Hi JWright
Thanks again for your excellent work and no doubt another brilliant ROM. You are truly a hero.
Just a small point:
In your first post of the thread at the top of the page you mention that the pagepool is increased to 6.2MB, however, further down the page in the description of the CE Rom it says that the page pool is set to 5.2MB. The same discrepancy is there in the text files in the .rar downloads. Just thought of mentioning this to avoid confusion for people.
Many Thanks.

First XPDF works way better then the Adobe Reader. Second I already knew how to extract the NB.NBF file. I would prefer if there is just a NB.NBF file too.

Do you think this is a good upgrade from nncuong's latest rom? (18521.0.7.0)
Is it stable, does it have any obvious bug?
I also think it would be great to start including esmertec's jbed java, instead of that crappy, old, useless and slow midlet manager. it is smaller, uses less memory, it's faster, and doesnt' waste a shitload of disk space when installing java apps (tao unpacks them, while esmertec leaves JARs untouched). it also run newer java apps, unlike tao (still no 3d though)

:)
no, coz XPDF runs out of memory with PDF files any larger than "Hello World!"

This message is normal, it is part of the new software I wrote to aid in the camera buffer issue we had from the previous ROMS... However I may have been playing a little to safe with the memory requirements, but not to worry we can adjust the amount of memory that is needed via the registry.
Basically the new software is attempting to see if we have enough memory before we will allow the camera to launch, preventing the "Camera Buffer" message and dreaded reboot...
To adjust the level yourself you can go to the following registry key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Camera]
Adjust the "ReqBufferSize" to a another value in bytes (but not lower than 8-10 MB)
Some example buffer sizes:
8MB = 8388608
10MB = 10485760
12MB = 12582912
14MB = 14680064
16MB = 16777216 (default)
I hope this helps, and also remember that even though I do everything to make my ROMS stable/reliable, they are still works in progress... :)

You are kinda right....but this really does not matter with items that are loaded at boot-time and stay in use until the system is rebooted... That is why I don't worry about my few OEM drivers not being modules, they are system drivers and get loaded only once at boot time and remain in use, so no real gains/losses (other than a few kb in space)
But hey, thanks for the tip anyway...

Hi JW,
Congrats and thanks for the new release... Downloading it and let u know the results soon....
BTW, One small query... I have seen many(including me) experienced a small problem of locking up of screen and asking for password to unlock it, where the user never set a PW. Have u done anything for it???? Evenif its not included in this release, its OK since a simple SR will solve the issue and occurrence is very rare... Loved the previous release for its stability and speed...
Hello All,

Comming soon...
NOTE: The installs have been digitally signed for your confidence and safety!

I have corrected the posting mistake on the first page. Thanks for pointing it out...
Take care,
-Jwrightmcps

8MB = 8388608
10MB = 10485760
12MB = 12582912
14MB = 14680064
16MB = 16777216 (default)
I hope this helps, and also remember that even though I do everything to make my ROMS stable/reliable, they are still works in progress... :)
-Jwrightmcps
So I guess even setting it at 8-10mb the camera will work flawlessly? :)

Hi JW,
Congrats and thanks for the new release...
Loved the previous release for its stability and speed...
hello my friend hotchillypepper,
with all due respect, would you please refrain from quoting whole posts like the 1st page in your post specially if your message has nothing to do about it. even if it has, you can edit out the not required texts.
sorry, but opening the thread on the jasjar while mobile takes up unnecessary extra load times besides taking up useful space for other posts in the xda-dev disks & this thread. ;)

Two questions and my congrats for your work !
Is there a possibility to install your ROM without VoiceCommand, as I already have it in French ?
Second and last question : How could I install without getting a country error. Laurentius has kindly helped me with your previous one.
Thank you my friend

hey man i found three bugs in this rom !they r as follows:
1. when ever u define any settings for today it dosent apply immidiately like in other roms. but u have to reset the device to get the settings done. e.g i filled in the user info and still after it stored my name and information it wasn displaying the same on the today screen insted was giving the same default words "please enter ur information here". untill i restarted the device. similarly alll the settings including adjustment of today screen, removal of items ,addition of items etc all needs a reboot to b applied! (other users pls chek if this problem is just with the today screen config or in redefining other attributes in the ppc as well)
2. to remove any programe i need to run the cab of it again as most programs dont show in the remove programs menu and programs that install themselves strait away to device memory without prompting does not display in remove programs menu so that can b removed hence they jus stay there even thou if i wanna remove them !
3. dont know if it is a bug or not (need confirmation from others !) but when i m trying to map a drive through the network plugin it never displays my computer neither wen its connected through active sync nor internet sharing ! i didn had problem mapping a drive thru resco file explorer thou ! it detects my pc on internet sharing

hey guys outta topic i need to ask u fellas sumfin :
i m having a problem with my jasjar ever since i brought it. there is no problem in functionality or anything but when ever i use my device for surfing on the net from any browser on any rom . my device suddenly hangs after sumtimes givin an error sumfion like ":mrsmnet file unknows and cannot b executed ...." its not the exact words but yeah sumfin liike that and after i get that error message i cannot open nothing on my device non of the programs seems to function and neither the explorer nor task manager nothing. it only starts to work after a soft reset. i dont face this problem in using my fone prolongly on any function of the fone but jus while i m surfing !
its not a rom problem i think coz i flashed hella loadz roms an still the problem persists . any of u can help me on this issue and enlighten me of wat exactly is it ? and wat i need to do ?? in btw the customer support of imate is bull crap they know jus two things "flash it again" or "take it to the service center" lol

[COLOR="Blue"]Can anyone post a detailed video on Jwrightmcps Crossbow Rom Update 2.12.06 WWE. Also a question for Jason how true of a windows mobile 6 is this regarding to the official windows mobile 6 professional. How different is pocket internet explorer 6 from windows mobile 5 for the Qtek 9000 official latest release rom. Is there a windows update for your windows mobile 6 rom? Are there any bugs in your current Rom update? If upgrading to your Rom and if I do not like can I change back to previous rom I am using which is the latest rom release for my Qtek 9000. I strictly use my device for my companines businesses which I have alot of third party applications added for my business needs. At this time my current rom is running perfectly except once in a while I have to reset my two bluetooth headsets.

Thanks for the ROM, WM6 looks so much better than WM5 :D
I have a problem with wifi, it can't connect to my router which uses WPA2. Another WM6 device (TyTN) can connect without any problems.
Do I have to change some settings on my phone?

The current implementation only supports WPA not WPA2, you should downgrade your router settings (and reconfigure yourTyTN as well to connect to the same router).

Hey, yah, I've just been fiddling with this same problem this afternoon. Looking for help on this too!!
UPDATE: Oh, I've found something that I had forgotten about...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-315237.html
The problem that we couldn't hear anuthing because it doesn't allow sip on 5060 port. What you have to do you just change the following registry:
HKLM\System\VoIP\SIP
EnablePort5060 = "1"
when it's "0" you don't get the port open and that's why you don't hear anything.
Just trying it now.
You may need this as well...

The best rom so far.
So much, that I don't intent to flash a new one, for the next 6 months, at least!
I feel that is not the fastest, but it's, FOR ME, the best compromisse between speed, stability, and apps included.
Thank you, master Jason, for a great work, and for "giving" it away.

EnablePort5060 = "1"
when it's "0" you don't get the port open and that's why you don't hear anything.
(...)
Can´t try it at the moment, my mobile ISP barrier VOIP, but I'll give a try at home with a different ISP.
For the sound volume problem can you change (untested for the reason mentioned above):
HKLM\Security\VoIP
HeadsetModeMaxVolume - Value Data:cccc
to Value Data:ffff for exemple
@VMiguel
How can you have the same ROM for 6 months?!? I can´t resist flashing for 6 days!! :D

This registry setting doesn't exist on my Universal. Are you sure that is the correct registry path, or, if so, does it need to be added?

Install the WM6VoIP.cab file that I indicated in my previous post. I've had to install that before in other ROM's, even though they were supposed to support VOIP. Once I installed it, I was able to hear the other party. I think there may be an incompatibility with the files included in WM6, or perhaps not registered correctly.

Dear JWrightmcps,
this is mine special thanks for your COOK (donation will follow offcourse).
And to contribute with a feedback. "which you probably know by now"
Im using i-Mate Jasjar G4.
I have no applications install yet, apart from the SIPConfig.
-the homepage does not update in realtime, on what ever modification.
(owner-info, theme etc.)
-While on WiFi, the internet-call fail on calling out without SIM card on the phone. however, it log perfectly to the proxy, and I can read all the activities.
-For the VoIP setting I have tried many patch and setting. the situations remains unsuccessful, with WM6VoIP.cab(which I have to modify to enable port 5060), you will get VERY VERY faint voice only on the speakers. on less you have a headset on.
While my bluetooth set(jabra BT800) works like a charm for the first time in her life time :-) the whole thing about VoIP in this ROM is not of JW am use to.
Please JW, wherever you are, do answer to this feedback.
Because I know fixing those will make this ROM the best out the best in this forum, apart from the issue of videocall.(It seems can be fix)
This COOK is a party!!! man.
THANX AGAIN
and waiting for your opinion at lest.
(please fellow forum user, feel free to add to this list. and dont forget to specify your device brand and name)

Mine are working fine, both outgoing and incoming. Are you sure you have double-checked your mms settings, or you have enough credit if it's a pre-paid card? (yeah, sound silly but first time I tried for about two hours to make it work and nearly reflashed before I found out I was out of credit :/ flame away, I deserve it :p)

The useragent cannot be changed in the registry with the Internet Explorer Mobile that is provided with this ROM.
The browser.dll has to be patched (with a hex editor) to read the useragent from the registry instead of hardcoding it. See this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=305008).
I tried it (see the same thread) but the browser.dll I extracted from the ROM seems to be corrupt.

Well, I have around 2GB of it already filled in with:
1. MP3s, which I use to listen to on a daily basis, and, what's even better, through A2DP;
2. Pictures, either taken with my Exec or my digital camera;
3. My work's documents (.doc and .pdf files);
4. Cab and executable files of applications running on my Exec.
Rest assured that for such uses, there are no lags or hangings of any kind. Hope it'll work for you too, in case you decide to get yourself one of these cards.
Greeetings!

Hey KOR,
We discussed this two months ago, isn't it? By you signature, I see that you seem to own two Unis! In your Exec, does the main camera work fine, then? Well, glad to have helped you, somehow! You see, I find myself with a very limited knowledge about the WM world. I simply use to post here either issues I detect, looking for help, of course, or describe a certain environment which does work for me, for comparison purposes...
About the cases, yes, the PDAir aluminum case is very good, indeed, although it does increase the Uni's general bulk a lot. I sill keep it. However, I'm presently giving one of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/FIT-FOR-VODAFONE-V1640-I-MATE-JASJAR-LEATHER-CASE-SOC_W0QQitemZ320181632335QQihZ011QQcategoryZ15036Q QtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem) a try, for the last two months. Have not droped my Exec with it yet, although I don't find it to be as protective as the aluminum one. Time and use will tell!:D One thing is certain: I never use my Exec without a case !
Cheers!

I don't notice any volume difference with the HeadsetModeMaxVolume changed to FFFF. I can hear the sound from the other side, but too quiet. There needs to be some kind of pre-amp on the VoIP. Also, I can't seem to get the system sound to redirect to BT using the MS BT stack, only calls. But Broadcom stack doesn't seem to work at all with this ROM.
UPDATE: Ok, I found another link that has some DLL that may fix it ...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=327518&page=3
which was linked from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950&page=95
EXCEPT that the dll download link doesn't seem to work!! Trying to find another one.
Try to get the rtcdll.zip from here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=40183&d=1180374177
UPDATE AGAIN: It seems this quiet VoIP is a common problem with HTC phones. There may be no resolution for it (yet). I'm guessing that some kind of shunting sound driver may be needed to amplify VoIP sound and redirect it, if that's even possible. :( I'm certainly not the one to write it.

http://www.ce4you.cz/forums/view_topic.asp?t=26300
http://www.ce4you.cz/forums/view_topic.asp?t=26300&dd=0&fi=10
All ends therethrough, that it wants the password from me. But i never used the password pretection before. My friends from that forum are telling me, that it must be by defective hardware of my device. But I hope it will not be. My device is in default settings, almost nothing installed. All begins if I do not soft reset for a long time and if I use Pocket Internet Explorer for writing a big amount of text by typing on hardware keyboard. Than the system of my device craschup. I have ROM 2.12.04 WWE for about one week or more.
Did you someone see this? What do I have with my device? I had this problem on previous release as I wrote here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1645532#post1645532
But in this morning, I did see it again. Is it software or hardware problem? The same problem again. I did hard reset, but after writing a big amount of the text on the hardware keyboard (internet explorer, messages aplication..), the system will every time craschup.
this ROM works well on my xda. please try to hardreset your uni then go to start/setting/key/ uncheck at prompt device when unused.I did it, but it does not help.

Hi, I have been using the Motorola HT820 stereo bt headset without problem with this Rom. 2 days ago I took a fancy to Motorola S9 BT Active Headphone which is more stylish etc etc but can't get it to play music. Stuttering of the worst kind through TCPMP and windows media player just refuses to play any tracks at all and skips forward to the next track. tried to patch the A2DP reg entry ? I don't think that is a problem though bcoz HT820 plays ok. The same headset S9 works ok with my wife's phone Motorola z8, not stutter or skipping at all.
Any suggestions /solution to this problem.

I love voip.
I switched my business landline to IP, it's so cool.
Needless to say, I have tried hard to get a decent VOIP solution for the XDA (WM6 Native), and the best I ever used was the VOIP built in to JW 2.02.
This had 2 way audio, and good volume in the Speakers / BT Headset. It also worked for an hour at a time no prob. Some builds crap out after a few secs.
Unfortunately this isn't available as a cab install, so it can't be retro fitted.
Ditto no inbound audio on this build.
Any chance of a cab of the VOIP files from your earlier rom Jason? That's as good as it gets on the Uni, shame they all come out of the loudspeaker.
No need to mess with the registry on this one.

Oook, I wish to revise my statement, outgoing sms work fine, however incoming, no go. Anyone else has the same problem? They worked well with all previous rom versions :/
Furthermore, when I try to manually click Send/Receive on the mms menu, the status (above left softkey) almost -instantly- changes to "Finished", like it doesn't even try to connect to the mms server...
Also, no percentage ("10%-20%-30% etc sent" shown) while sending an mms and finally, if I remember correctly, the MMS folder in outlook mobile also had a "New" subfolder, where the new mms would be stored (until they were viewed and placed into the "Inbox" folder). This is also missing...

I have totally tested out Jwrightmcps Crossbow Rom Update 2.12.06 WWE on my Qtek 9000 for the last couple of days. Everything running perfectly except for on the camera most of the times it works and sometimes it does not. When camera does not work I have to reset device to clear out memory then the camera works fine. The fix for this according to Jason is adjust the "ReqBufferSize" to a another value in bytes (but not lower than 8-10 MB). Also I cannot get voice command 1.6 to work properly. I have desperately tried every option. Sometimes it works somewhat but most of the times it does not. I also have read the directions in the help menu and still does not work properly. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to solve this that is also having trouble with this same issue. If anyone does please detail this out.

I had a problem before with PhoneAlarm installed & call forwarding active.

try the new TNT rom for wizard. but b4 that:::
1. reflash ur rom connecting the cable (flash the orignal shipped rom) that u can get from imate ftp or the rom u got with ur device
2. reflash ur wm5 rom to wm6 rom of TNT (remember to CID unlock b4 flashing this rom. u can know more about CID unlocking of wizard by using the wiki or the search in ere)
** ps: dont worry if active sync dont detect ur fone jus the usb must show on ur bottom left corner as to confirm that the cable is properly connected to ur device. ur wizard is brikd bro

Does this work on Vista?
Because the ROM updater reports that my phone is not connected. Does it requier ActiveSync? Vista has this new (slow and crappy) Windows Mobile Device Center built-in instead of ActiveSync.
But if required, I could try updating on an XP machine with ActiveSync?

You have to install USB driver if you want to update ROM in Vista! Search in the wiki!

Hi Jason,
I've flash my UNI with your own build WM6 hoping to fix the BT problem because your using the latest BL stack but problem the same with Beasty and Leo ROM. Music stop for 1 or 2 seconds sometimes continuously. Any idea how to fix this problem?
Overall you build fantastic ROM.:)

Hello Jwrightmcps,
Thanks for your latest WM6 ROM for Uni. =)
I have been using the latest 2 version of yours. It changed the Uni a lot, in term of performance and user experience. =)
I want to ask you one thing. Its cosmetic issue. I always have my Contacts loaded with their pictures from Outlook. Usually when you have a Contact with picture, when you receive email/message from that person, and you open it up, you would see his picture in the right corner above the message.
In both of your latest WM6 ROM, the contact picture somehow does not show up, I noticed only the small left border of the picture was displayed, and the rest did not make it. I do not know what causing that, perhaps you would be able to fix it.
I understand you have priority and this is not crucial, but if you have time, please take a look of it.
Thanks,
lie_ui

This ROM is working fine for me with bluetooth a2dp on an Itech radio headset. However, the same problem with regard to activating a2dp still exists in this ROM with my headset. If you don't turn off your bluetooth headset when resetting your Universal, then the music will stop after a few seconds when you start to play it. With my headset you turn it off, reset your device, then activate A2DP by pressing the button on the headset. Everything then works fine.

Great news! Thnx Jwrigh :)
On another matter, do you know if it is possible to disable/enable smartdial at will?
ps: about the camera buffer crash & reboot: is there any reason it happens in the latest WM6 cores? back on 2.02.02 for example I never had that issue even with >10mb ram. My question is, is it something that has to do with WM6 itself, or with the cooking process itself? :)

Hi,
It is sure the best Rom I'd never tried. Stable, Fast and I don't need soft rest 3
times the day. Me to i don't get MMS but anyway I don't use it so often. I use
my PPC as prof. tool more outlouk and phone.
The lonely strang thing is that I found some probleme when I charge the battery
When I charge on AC charger it is fast and without problem even when I use the device.
If I recharge on sub connection for synchronization, it charge very slowly, and
if I recharge on Car Charger it charge 10% per hour and more less if I use the PPC.
I have this probleme only with Roms 2.12.04 and 2.1206 but not with the
previous Roms until 2.12.00.
Maybe some indication?

The ROM is great in all its aspects except for the new Bluetooth stack. I say this because I have an OnCourse BT GPS V20 Receiver which used to work fine on Ivan's V1 ROM, no matter what GPS software I installed, it would connect to the GPS receiver without any problems. Now it will see the GPS receiver and pair with it, it will also allow you to create an outgoing serial port and allow you to set the GPS program port to any port, but when any GPS software is run, it cannot connect to the receiver more often than not, sometimes it will, but after a soft reset, it will not connect anymore.
I have already tried different methods, like changing the com ports, unchecking the box which allows the automatic management of GPS devices in the GPS settings panel, etc.
The weird thing is it use to work fine without any "hocus-pocus" to get it to run, fairly straight forward, now it takes so much to get it to work, and it will not even continue to work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
I found a solution for my problem, I installed the Broadcom BT stack posted by Helmi, it solved my GPS BT problems, now its working like a charm again. Im not too sure if this will resolve other problems other people are experiencing with other BT functions, because I read from the thread that this stack experiences problems with BT headset and A2DP, but for my purposes it does the job.

In Manila and not wanting to pay IDD so trying to configure VOIP.
First issue I had was enabling a service
Following some links here
1) I downloaded and installed wm6voip.cab
2) Then the rtcdlll patch
3) then the useful (I was wondering how to configure my sip account) setupvoip0.3
4) change the registry port to 1 as per previous instruction.
My problem now is service says available on internet calling.
I am connected to web either thru wifi or active sync ( tried both)
I then disabled the gsm/3g phone.
Whenever I make a call I get an error saying phone is not on.
I know it is not, I want to use voip and not the phone, internet calling says available. I assume I use phone dialer as I have set the internet calling option to Whenever available.
Anything else I need to change.

When you see "Available" on the internet call today plugin, just tap over it. It should turn itself to "Selected". Only then your Voip dial plan will be used, instead of your cellular carrier's. After that, if you are still unable to call through Voip, perhaps you should edit your ipdialplan.xml file to adapt it to your voip provider's needs. Just my 2 cents...
Cheers!

Hello ppl
Well, we all know that the camera problem still persist, sometimes even with the registry setting Jason suggested to us.
However I have found out that setting picture resolution (from camera settings) to 640x480 instead of 1280x1024, even with SuperFine quality, reduces the risk of having an error even after long phone use.
If you -have- to take pictures in 1280x1024 then reducing the picture quality may help. I'm still curious though why this problem happens only in later builds of WM6...
ps: anyone knows why picture resolution goes from VGA 640x480 right to SXGA 1280x1024? Is it not possible to be able to take pictures in SVGA 800x600 or XGA 1024x768?

If my understanding is right, and Jason has written an app that prevents the camera from starting if it looks like it will have insufficient memory for its buffer (thus causing a reboot), then maybe that could be modified to perform one of those memory tidy-up type calls to recover memory before it does it?
Cheers,
Steve.

Any updates on the VOIP status Jason/Jwrightmcps? It would really be nice to have this feature working more usably. Specifically, the volume issue with speakers/bluetooth and rerouting sound to the phone speaker would be nice.

At least anyone with problems knows they are on the same software.

Hi,
I still find the camera buffer issue. When I turn on the camera it gives me a error message that there is not enough physical memory.
Restarting does help.
Another issue is the soft key if I press the calender soft key it gives a error messaget that HTCCalender not found. I chaged to registry to \\windows\calender it works but incase we change the soft key it gives the same error message.

I still believe that one of the most stable rom is the 2.02.00, the others have problems.
I would like to make a couple of questions:
It is not possible to video call in wm6?
By the time going to be possible?
Thanks.

Good grief. Is that the kind of english they teach in school today? Dude, if you even want help, speak in our normal english. Nobody even WANTS to read your post as it is written so badly. Get someone to help you if necessary, or if you don't speak english and are using a translator, get a better one.
Really, if you want help, don't talk like that. It may be cool to you, but it is not to anyone else here. I wouldn't be surprised if you are that mandy_biker person who was here before under a different name. Dude, take a hint. It's NOT cool.

Now I am not trying to hurt your feelings, but this might come as a surprise to you they don’t teach English in every part of the world. I don’t speak very good English either but I am sure I can still make you cry anytime soon. I think what the poor guy was trying to ask was what is over clocking? I don’t think he loves you so much to come back on with another screen name. But don’t let me pull your hopes down. This wouldn’t surprise you either if you try to be a little nice to people who doesn’t speak English.

This is not an English contest to judge whom or who may speak better English. But if there is a contest I don’t think I can win and I hate to lose. I am sure he’s ashamed of what he did and he might have learned his lesson. And there is something I picked up from some Novel “The people who speak with an accent and can’t talk proper at least they know one more language than you.” But let’s just stop quoting everyone back and let bygones be bygones.:)

Greetings.
I do respect your comments, but with all due respect, such as mandy_biker said, it is quite obvious that it's not a matter of bad english in this case, but rather very bad slang. I am not out to criticize bad english, because usually the best attempts are either understandable or at best recognized as being poor english.
This guy is more obviously using slang as the spellings and grammer used are well known in english as being used in slang. Now, on the subject of slang, I don't usually have a problem with a bit here or there either. But, slang is NOT a language, and every word or every second word used as slang is generally unacceptable in a public context. I was not the only one to comment that this person didn't make sense; however I was the one who took it upon myself to tell him to get real.
In this situation, I rest my case and I believe and hope any english readers who have read that badly written "slang" english will support my comments.

One more from me: Over clocking actually reduce duty cycle time and hence the speed gain.. So if u have written some _nop() in your code, time delay for your routine will also change and may cause sync issues if not handled properly.

Yeah.. Me too getting the same issue before (JW 25.2.1933). But suddently it disapeared. I really dont know what I did. But I have a strong doubt on the SD card settings (Display as a removable disk settings). Currently its ON in my device and as soon as I plug it to USB, I get a small extra icon on task bar.
One more thing I noticed is if the HDSD(4GB, Kingston) card is inside the slot and you get into boot loader mode, the USB will not be detected by your PC. This happend to me many times, and just remove the card from slot immediately displays USB on device screen and PC detects it as well. Is it a conflict in any IRQ used?

Seasons Greetings All,
Sorry I have been out of the loop for a while (side-tracked by work, ha-ha)...
However while I was away paying bills I have been working on a totally new build for you all (this is what I do when I am not here :)). I have to say that this new build has been working so great, with no camera buffer or radio crashes at all! I have even got A2DP to work while using Wi-Fi at the same time, yahoo...
Anyway, I am now getting the ROM ready for release and should have it up by weeks end. The new ROM will have the following details:
CE CORE 5.2.1938 18538.0.7.0
128 MB RAM Support
ALL NEW OEM Drivers (all are modules now)
Updated HTC applications (some are just registry settings)
I have also corrected the following:
Start button issue after ending long phone calls
MMS Receive issues
Outlook Mobile contact picture display issue
Password lock-out (pending confirmation)
Well that's all for now, I hope that this will make everyone’s week!
Take care,

Hi Jason,
Wellcome back, our Great Guru!
I've been waiting for such good news from you for a long time. You see, I'm presently using Ivan's v3 ROM, which happens to be based on the same build as your soon to be released ROM.
It is truly fast and stable. However it seems to slowly loose memory, mainly due to Activesync and WMP operations. Not all the RAM used by these applications (among others) are released after they are closed, even after running Oxio's Hibernate application. So, it requires a soft reset from times to times.
I'll be eagerly waiting for your next release. You know that I've become a big fan of your ROMs. I already flashed all of them on my Exec.
Thanks a lot.
Cheers!
Carlos

Please, please tell me you got VOIP working a little better.... (please!!!). We really need the volume issue fixed and preferably to be routed through the phone speaker rather than the stereo speakers. I'd really not rather use speakerphone every time I make a VOIP call.

:) Hello Jason,
On your next Rom release that supports 128mb of ram could you please advise me on who you would recommend on upgrading from 64mb to 128mb by doing this procedure. Is there any company in the U.S. that does this? Or do I have to deal with another company overseas? Please give me the full details. Currently I am using your latest rom you released on November 11th. The only issue I find wrong with this Rom on my device is the camera buffer issue where you must reset device sometimes where camera gives you an error message.

That has to be disabled when you disconnect from a PC for your device to recognize the SD card. Hope this helps

Hello Everybody
At the begining was nothing, then i found this forum and my life is a bit brighter now.......
I'm not sure if it's me or somebody else got this problem, but every time when i disconect my device from any pc or other stuff after using it as hdd my uni just dont recognize sd card. it's just saying no sd card presented....
When you us your device as a flash disk(hdd) the pc sees your device as a USB mass storage device. When you are done(i.e when you de-activate HDD on your device) you may need to remove the USB and insert again for your pc to re-detect your device.
Also note that when you have not disconnected as above, from the pc, you cannot access your sd card on the device. (I think it makes a lot of sense as one is device access is disabled while the other is in control).
