I've completed this simple file to help people with flashing.

Whats in the file

Everything needed to install a new OS

Current and previous versions of Touch It (ITJEs work)
-Touch it 1.1, 2.0, 2.3

Several additional .cabs I run on my device
-Touch IT Fixes
-Slide2Unlock
-Calculator skin
-screen capture program
-HTC Equalizer
-Flash player bundle and core player (for youtube to work)
-Sliding sounds

This file started for me personally in helping me flash my phone. It was a folder I kept all my files so at any time I could totally restore my device without having to hunt all over the net to get cabs I had installed.

Thanks for putting this together. Here is my problem. I installed everything, run a fix.cab file but still can't get the cube to appear. I had the version 2 before and I simply assigned TouchFlo to one of the buttons. The TouchFlo application or shortcut was installed in Programs/TouchFlo folder. After installing your version, I don't see the TouchFlo in that folder, nor do i see it anywhere in the Button Settings. Am I missing something? I only found a shortcut file in the Windows directory. But copy/paste that didn't solve. My question is can someone with working Version 2.3 upload TouchFlo.exe file from Windows directory for me so I can copy it where it is supposed to go? Or do I need to reflash and re-install? Thanks!

Hmmmmm.. were there any errors in your flashing?

for me (running 2.3) I hit start > programs > TouchFlo > then either TF settings or TouchSettings.. Those control the options for button mapping and cube activation.

If that folder isint there on your phone, then try reinstalling the rom, because its definitely there for me out of this package I made for myself.

You need a way to unpack the .rar - winrar is the oem program for that, but it's trialware, and that's no good. I found 7 zip here (http://www.download.com/7-Zip/3000-2250_4-10780224.html?tag=lst-1) when I went looking for a free way to extract a .rar.

I've had to run the RUU twice already. I get the "unknown status" error box during upgrade but the upgrade cmd screen on my computer shows no errors. What could I be doing wrong?

You're supposed to get the unknown error status.

I did the soft reset for the ASerg Policies, but not for the other two "first" cabs seperately. After soft resetting after installing each one seperately, it worked!

Question: Does the HTC 4350 work with the TouchIT 3.0? I don't think so since everyone keeps recommending 2.3, but I'm hopeful for someone to confirm that it does...

Also waiting for 4.0., but again, I get the feeling that it won't work.

2.3 is a WING keyboard. The other two work with the Herald keyboard. So, yes, it works.

I'm using the Touch-IT 3.0 for some time now and I'm very satisfied with itje's ROM. If you wanna upgrade your Herald then I cleary recommend this ROM.

Does the "2.3 Fixes" cab set up the Wing keyboard? If so would it do the same for other TouchIT Roms causing the bug with the Wings?

I got Touch-It working perfectly on my Wing with only one problem. I could not send or receive MMS messages. Does anyone know how to set it up? Thanks in advance.

1: Starting Fresh - entering bootloader and running RUU_Atlas_TMO_US_4[1].10.531.3_4.1.13.37_02.83.90_Ship.exe

2: Finishing initial setup after fresh os install

3: Copying asergpolicies.cab and running from phone, soft reset

4: Copying cert_specs.cab and running from phone, soft reset

5: Copying enablerapi.cab and running from phone, soft reset

6: Activesync connection as guest

8: Phone into Flight mode

9: Running 1__UPGRADE_ROM.bat from the Touch it for Wing 2.3 folder

10: Only the "unknown status" message shows on phone, computer takes approx. 5 mins to install and finish.

11: Hard Reset

12: Will NEVER get past t-mobile splash screen

Did i miss something? I consider myself a decently intelligent person, and i have probably read and tried a half dozen different walkthroughs for this, and nothing has ever gotten me past the splash.

This is an OLD process. We have more reliable ways now. If you have a wing, they're safe to use. Read this. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=369397) Follow this. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358615) And download a newer ROM. The newest being WM6.1:

ijte's TouchIT any flavor of V4 (I believe it's V4...) or ItsBlack

I have followed this step by step.
I started with a fresh rom from the kit. Since my wing was a brick when I started from previous attempts. I extracted the .nhb file, renamed it hearimg.nhb and brought it back to life that way. I copied the three files to the handset and ran them, and then soft reset. When I run the upgrade batch file it errors out until it gets to the .nb file. I also get an error on the handset as well. I am not sure what I am doing wrong? Any idears?
