How did you get Hebrew on your phone?

Two Software sources for hebrew installation:

I installed as guided, restarted and went to personal settings. There is a pictogram but 1st. without text 2nd. If i click on the pictogram, a split second the screen refreshes? but no changes in the sizes of the fonts 3rd. Also the pictogram is the first pictogram.

Who helps?

Am I the only one that thinks these kinds of things are pretty pointless? I mean they seem like a good idea at the time - the ability to navigate the start menu by hand seems brilliant. But when you ultimately have to get the stylus out to use the application you just launched, I'm just left wondering if I've saved myself any real time or effort.

in this case i do not think it is useless - you can hit start menu by pressing OK button on the side and then you can navigate to the program menu or last used apps or setting. during having pda in a car holder it can be useful the same way as in bus or tram or what ever... just my opinion :)

funnily enough, i'm having the same deal when installed on Hermes WM5

works fine on Touch WM6 though.


i know it's not Kaiser, but people keep putting software threads all over different places in forums when they are not just relevant to one type of device.

Sorry, not sure what I'm looking for, I'm a bit stupid when it comes to technical questions about ROMS etc... where do i look?

both devices have the original T-Mobile ROMS as both are under warranty and I'm too chickenshit to attempt any changes (despite the infuriating lack of storage memory on the Touch... aaaaargh! :rolleyes: )

I've gotten to the point where I RARELY use my stylus any more with the combo of software/utils/enhanced UI I have now.

Just installed this on my tilt, when i enable it, and click on a program under the start menu it opens up the program above or below the one i clicked, any idea what may be causing that?
i took it out of my remove programs, and it still shows up in my settings folder, anyway to take it out permanently?

yep, did that, i finally just did a hard reset and put everything back in, now i cant get my youtube to play my videos w/o getting a server or data timeout error, kind of like if it's not one thing going wrong, it's another.

You have to rename in /windows EnlargeMenu0409.mui in EnlargeMenu040c.mui. 040c is for french language.

T'as compris le truc? chaque language a un code et pour nous les frenchies c'est 040c. Tout ce que tu trouves en 409 passe le en 040c

I use TyTN II with ThaiWinCE PRO (latest version), and set my regional settings in csettings to Thai.

After installing HTC Large Menu, the installation work OK, but my ThaiWinCE which started automatically after soft rest changed to Microsoft English Defualt keyboard. Of course, I can chnage it to ThaiWinCE afterward but that's inconvenience for me. Removing HTC Large Start Menu and rebbot bring ThaiWinCE keyboard back after soft rest, so the culprit must definitely be HTC Large Start Menu.

So I use Registry Editor to edit the default SIP to ThaiWinCE. After the change, my TyTN II fail to reboot, stucked at HTC dask start screen icon, not even go to Windows Mobile boot splash screen.

I must hard reset and restore my TyTN II from backup to get it back to run again. SO I decied not to install HTC Large Start Menu.

Any friend experience the same problem as I do? ANd can you advise how to correct this? So I can use HTC Large Start Menu with ThaiWinCE started after soft rest.

I've got the same problem, first changed my mui to 0413(Dutch) and activated the enlarged start menu. Now it's completely gone.

How can I get to settings, and deactivate it?
Or is there another way to disable or fix it? (Plz don't tell me I've to do an hard-reset:p)

edit: deactivated by changing the mui back to another, but still can't get it working properly...

To delete the icon from your settings menu:

i tried to study the .xml file in the .cab and deleted one item by one that the program installed, after deleting a item i did a soft reset to see that the icon is still in the 'settings'. Finally its this bugger you want to delete:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ControlPanel in there delete startkey folder, then soft reset.

Morale: take risks by deleting files you think that has a connection to the program (taking the .xml as source), because you are going to hard-reset it anyway...

Its working, however, for some reason it cant be enabled at least not in the settings menu anyway. To enable it use TaskManager-services, tap and hold EnlargeStartMenu, select start or restart.... This is required after every reboot.
