I'm looking for a mobile browser for my 8525 that acts like a full browser.... I want the ability to visit websites that are typically blocked or inaccessible because I'm on a mobile browser.

Essentially, I looking for something to trick websites into thinking I'm on a full PC and not a phone.

Does this exist?

any tips?

I've been running Opera for 6 months and it has outperformed everything else that I've tried. Well worth the $29 I paid. Opera has a setting that allows you to identify yourself as a desktop to websites. Works like a charm.

If you like Pocket IE then change the registrys to see it like a desktop. This is a link to the registry changes you will need to make.

http://www.pocketpctweaks.com/pocketpc_tweaks/change_pocket_internet_explorer_6

This will let your pocket internet explorer look like a normal desktop Internet Explorer 6.0
This can help you access sites that require a certain internet explorer version.
1) Open a registry editor
2) Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\
3) Change the default value to "Mozilla/4.0".
4) Change the "Version" value to "MSIE 6.0".
5) Change the "Platform" value to "Windows NT 5.0".
6) Soft-reset.

I'm personally a fan of the Opera Browser.
I've used it for quite a while now and am very happy with it.
I would say it is your best bet.
