Hello all, This newbie needs some help!

Hello everyone,
I am new to the world of pocket pc phones (Smart phones) I have a Verizon XV-6700 with the stock rom. My questions are as follows,
1 Can the RAM (memory) be upgraded in the handset? (thought I read it could be done on this site)

2 I have the following programs installed to the device and wanted to know if any of them could be installed to the memory card, in order to free up some of the phones memory.

The above GREEN colored items are for Tom Tom the maps are stored on the memory card

The above RED items are things I installed after hard reset with show ROM hack done.

So if I could get some input from the experts that would be great, as I love this phone but am running out of room quick!

yes you can. i have the same phone. when did you purchase your phone. also, put it into bootloader by holding the power button, the record button, and pressing the soft reset button with your stylus. the version number is at the bottom. if it's 2.04 or 2.05 then no you can't because of the new verizon rom. after you find out the bootloader number, do a soft reset and when the first screen comes up, it gives you the P, R, and D numbers on the bottom right. WHAT DOES YOURS READ??? but other then that a new rom can be flashed on your ppc and a new radio can be too.

Ok so far I have mooved a bunch of stuff over to my storage card, and had to switch the S2U2 settings to not suspend power and all is fine.
My new problem is charging!
When I plug it in at home to the supplied charger or my computers USB port to active sync it charges fine but when I plug it in to any of the 2 car chargers it won't charge?
I have the verizon car charger as well as a motorola one (wifes)
I just don't get it!
Any one know why?
I have all the programs listed above as well as the following reg hacks,
Show GPS
Enable data disconnect
Keyboard backlight timer set to 30 seconds
Wireless modem enabled

I may have others that I can't remember!
Any help on this would be great.

BTW I also have touch pal kebord, Quick menus, and Taskmgr 2.7 installed. I also have an extended battery from Seidio don't know if that matters?

I will do as you say but I can't do this till Tuesday as I am at work till then (nice job) I work straight through the weekend 52 hours and am off the rest of the week! I will be sleeping from Monday morning till Tuesday morning.

Ok I know why it don't charge in my vehicle, The car chargers only put out 400ma and the home charger is rated at 1 amp (over twice the power) So I have ordered a 1 amp car/home USB charger that I just plug my sync cable in to.
Hopefully this works!
