Quick splash screen question

At the moment i have a kasier running Dutty's EXCELLENT touchflow rom ..

when i boot my phone i get a 'crappy' tmobile screen, followed by a HTC animation followed by the windows welcome screen .. then the phone boots ...

am i right in saying i need to patch the rom to remove the tmobile screen ???

i'd be happy with the HTC animation followed by the windows screen .. can i just remove the first splash??

Yes, you do need to "patch" the ROM to change the splash screens - and you can't remove one, you have to replace it with another one, which in your case would be the HTC one....

Read MrVanx's Guide on Custom Splashscreens (http://www.mrvanx.org/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=20&Itemid=27) for details of how to change it.

As always, if you're not comfortable with flashing/patching your device - in case you void your warranty etc. - then it's probably best not to!!!
