joy stick problem!

sorry for my bad english
some programms are made to work with joy stick
for example we must press up side button of joy stick to pan a map to upward
but artemis have a mouse ball! and we must simultaneously rotate ball! or in some car games!!! we must hold joy stick up button for moving the car! and it is really difficult with mouse ball!!
is there solution for this ?

Same question over here..
I tried playing NFS: Hight Stakes but it only responds to moving the trackball up and down for accelerating and braking, and it doesnt resond to side movements.

I actually dont think that there is a solution for this problem.
