Hi all, I know this is already discussed in the Wiki but it doesn't come into depth, basically I've a HTC TyTN (Hermes) it was a Vodafone VPA, got it SuperCID and had done several upgrades for radio and ROM and my latest ROM is Schaps 3.54b which I find very nice but wanted to UPG to 4.01 due to the new improvements, and no matter what computer I tried (Windows 2000 and Windows XP) un-install ActiveSync and re-install, connect it without ActiveSync, basically everything that has been writtin the forum and still no joy. I hear people discussing 'Bricked' devices, just wanted to know is that the case with mine, because it simply won't pass 0% and comes up with Error 262, I even tried 3 separate USB cables. Can someone please guide me on what to do, I don't want to be stuck on Schaps 3.54b for the rest of my life.

One thing I have to say is that I've bought a 2800MaH battery and not using the previous original one, could that have anything on this?

ROM: Schaps 3.54b
Radio: 1.54

Help is much appreciated.

Thanks for reading.;)
