I think It's not a program. It means the .gif animation file (animated.gif) for PPC when the windows mobile is loading. This is the HTC default gif animation file you can put it in the WINDOWS folder :)

This a link where you can download the cab file. It's described as a gif player. And it's ripped from a htc device.
I only want to know what you can do with it. Ofcourse to play gif-files, but is it for example possible to put a animated gif-file as your wallpaper on the today screen? Why would you need this gif player?

I did put it in my windows forlder but nothing changed : first the white HTC initial screen, then the blue and green Windows Mobile screen. I didn't see any animation ?...
