Alright. Don't panic. For some reason this model likes to give the "Invalid SKU" error. I just did mine yesterday morning after a night of non-worko, so I think I can walk you through safely.
Make sure you have the WM06 rom, the 1.00.00h flashing program and rom, your cradle, ActiveSync 4.5, and your power cord. Plug your AC adapter into your cradle and into the wall. You will need constant power to your cradle. Charge your PDA until it has 100% battery life, or else you risk problems if things don't go as smoothly as planned, which usually happens.
First, flash to 1.00.00h. I went back and forth between a bunch of different roms and this was the only one that worked for me.
Second, do a hard reset. That is, push calendar, mail, power buttons, and then while still holding those, push the reset button with your stylus and hold it until the screen comes back on and says "formatting PS". Wait until it's done, and then sync with your PC (go through all the prompts on your PC. You don't need to do anything on your PDA.).
After the sync is done, take your PDA off the cradle and push the contacts, iTask, and reset buttons at the same time. The screen should flash and then slowly turn all white. Most people will tell you that you will get a message that says "USB" in the corner. I DID NOT, and if you do not don't panic. Place the PDA on the cradle, and nothing should happen. Then, push the calendar button (you may need to hold it for a few seconds) and then you should hear the "connected device" sound on your XP machine (PC). You may or may not recieve a message on your PDA. I DID NOT, so pay attention to the sounds your PC makes.
Now, find the folder you extracted the 1.00.00h (SP32408) installer to. You will need to know where this is. Run hpRUU.exe. Check the box and then click next. It will check your PDA (Which should still have a white screen BTW) and then say it is going to upgrade from "?" to 1.00.00h. STOP. DO NOT CLICK NEXT. Go into the SP32408 folder and find the .nbf file that was included with the update. Move it somewhere else or rename it .bak. Take your WM06 nbf ROM image and move it to the SP32408 folder. Rename it to whatever the default rom image was. (In my case it was Microsoft_Windows_Mobile_5_WWE.nbf) NOW you may resume the hpRUU.exe program. Click next or ok or whatever, and it should start flashing. This process is significantly slower than most other flash operations. It may take quite a while. Be patient. Don't worry if it looks like it stopped. Just wait.
If all went well, WM6 should start up sooner or later. I recommend doing another hard reset just for the hell of it. After that, WM06 should be ready to go! Enjoy!

WM6 Professional is for PDA/Phone combos. That's the only difference.

The version of WM6 I'm using doesn't have the battery drain bug, bluetooth works fine, wifi works fine. I guess the easiest way to tell is to try it out for a while lol. If your battery drains for no reason then I guess you have the bugged version. Same with bluetooth/wifi/etc.
