FTouchFLO configuration tool

Here is a little app to easily change FTouchFLO settings:

Autodetect FTouchFLO status
Enable/disable FTouchFLO (also on startup)
Enable/disable scrolling feature
Change timeout and gesture waiting delay
Change applications to launch after Up-Down/Down-Up/Left-Right/Right-Left gestures
Manage exclusion list
Lists all programs available on device
Select window title from active windows
Select program from active programs

Even though I had Efrost agreement to develop this tool, I didn't take part in FTouchFLO development, so please post here for bugs or suggestions concerning this tool only!

To ROM cookers, feel free to include this tool in your "FTouchFLO-enabled" ROMs.

Probably looking for the config file in \Program Files\FTouchFlo\

@schnaps, nice work, a long awaited tool over in the efrost thread ;)

Probably just being picky, but a few suggestions:
1) When you tap in a Gestures | Parameters field, make the SIP open and scroll to view the field to edit.

2) Put an Add and Remove button on the Exclusions page (will probably make it more intuitive and cut down on questions here).

3) I notice once you use the tool to change something it trims all the spaces out of the config file and makes if slightly less readable (not that we need to read it now anyway). Any chance of leaving the spaces/hard enters in?

4) Depending on the issue above, if come config files are burnt into other directories, maybe the tool needs the option to manually point to the config file.

Just one question, after successfully installed the program, I could not find the configuration under Start > Settings > Personal.

Thanks! I just renamed the ftouchflo directory and change the lnk file in startup and it all works very nicely.

Good idea. If you can reconfigure Schaps tool so it recognises the default directory for Ftouchfloconfig, as it sits in supporting the HTC cube, bundle all that up into one cab file for a single install that works, then that would be very much appreciated.

Just a small suggestion for adding program to exclusion list. Can it be designed such that we can pick where to look for the exe file? Now this application scans both SD and internal memory which takes a lot of time, considering you can only add one program a time.

Alternatively, allows for multiple selection so that one load we can select a few to be excluded.

I second the request for a better program finder. The search takes ages, i have a lot of software installed. Why not just popup a file dialog and let the use find the exe? and a 'list all' button which does the search then?

As far as I know, the whole screen is scrollable. Only the edges are launch-enabled as well.

What I do is remove all launch settings and leave them blank. That way, nothing is launched and I onlu get scrolling.

It was originally installed in program files\flotouch and gave me the error. i tried in windows and i get the not certified error. In storage card i get an error also. soft reset between each. any ideas? I have sdkcerts installed.

Move the Flo lnk from \Windows\Startup
soft reset
Align
Relaunch lnk

I've actually just gotten used to leaving the link from the Startup folder and manually starting it after a soft reset. Safer that way, you can always align just by doing a soft reset.

I just tried FTouchFloConfig_v0.9.CAB on my Vario II running the German T-Mobile WM6 ROM.
It seems FTouchFloConfig does not find FTouchFloConfig.txt.
FTouchFlo installed itself into the correct programs directory with localised name which is "\Programme\FTouchFlo". The config file is also there.

I expect that FTouchFloConfig is not aware about localised directory names. Is it possible to change this?
There would be also a further workaround for finding the FTouchFlo directory as the cab installer stores the installation directory path into the registry at "HKLM\Software\apps\efrostFTouchFlo v,1.4.1\InstallDir"

thats my other problem, is there a way to make the gestures only work on the homescreen? it kinda sucks in apps when yours trying to scroll you touch the screen and it minimizes or the cube comes up.

I used this program and added both s2u2.exe and ilock.exe but my cube is still active when i use slide 2 unlock. Whenever I swipe from right to leftmy, cube pops up and slides in that direction, how do I stop this?

I have tried to install on a HTC Cruise but it do not work.
Message "..can not find config file ..", the prog is installed to ../Program Files/FTouchFLO. I also tried to copy to /Windows but without success.

Delay:
Delay in milliseconds before start “Standard windows behavior” function in Zone 1

GestureWaitingDelay:
Delay in milliseconds before FTouchFlo start recognizing gesture in case if movement started from Zone 2.

Anyway PLEASE u should change the way u choose a program (I mean non title/program running) becouse when u press the search buttom u must wait various MINUTES and after that u get a huge list with no name order and is nearly imposible to find it ... and u have to do all for each file u want to add ..

The perfect solution would be to let the user select a directory before searching exe's and lnk's...

I believe the newer FTouchSL can do that through it's system control plug-in ... although I've created a way to do so with FTouchFlo v1.4.1 and my TFloCubeCtrl application.
