stuck on welcome screen

Hi there guys,

Hope you can figure the problem out and help me.

I have just bought a o2 Orbit (htc Artemis) and have been installing software on it and adapting it for myself.
I have upgraded to Windows Mobile 6 through http://www.my-xda.com/xdaOrbitSoftware.html and it was running perfectly.

Today I was installing some software, the last thing I did was installing Opera 8.65 which did not work with the phone (did no reaction to stylus) so I have uninstalled it and for some reason I dont remember now I pressed the power button to switch it off.
The phone was connected to the PC (activesync running).

I pressed power again and .. that's it. It it stuck on the welcome screen since then. No windows loading . I have tried hard reset (pressing Win+OK buttons and stylus->reset) and it still just shows O2 welcome screen and the following information:
IPL 3.04.0001
SPL 3.04.0000
GSM 02.67.90
OS 3.4.0.0

Please help!

Solution found - take the phone to the O2 retail shop.

It's not the Win/OK buttons you press it's the 2 above them....along with a poke in the side and keep holding the 2 buttons down until you get a message then press green for hard reset.

my o2 XDA Orbit 2 is stuck as well. the red text on the top left reads:

IPL 1.25.0001
SPL 1.25.0000
GSM 02.67.90

I hard-reset a few times, but no luck. I can get into bootloader mode, but I don't have any roms or flash programs to use.

Any ideas?

Try the site search facility. Worked for me .....
