I have the italian versione of htc touch p3450.
I tried to flash a rom but something went wrong.
Now it doesn't start: on the startup screen (smart mobility) there's written "OS 3.7.0.0" in red. It is stopped on thi screen and nothing happens.
I tried soft and hard reset but nothing changed.
Now i want to flash with its original rom and bootloader, but there's nothing on the htc website (i searched very well).
So... which of these ones i have to use? I tried them all but none of them worked. One said something about my device "vendor id", and so on...
Does anyone can help me???
If not, i can throw away my touch....

I'll do a few test by using the regular Change Pagepool method to see what effect it has on the Rom.

If people are nice i'll consider making versions with 6 tabs enabled but first i have to check the HTC home Plugin version.

Well looks like the exact behaviour i had with that other pre 5.2.1933 rom.
It's not for regular ELF/Touch

We allready have enough Roms as it is.
This is for our new friends with their new shiny Touch XL's

The White Version is simply old Blue version nothing white about it.

It's because you changed your SPL and shit.

Remove Sim and SD card. Reset with stylus, press and hold Camera then flash in Bootloader your original Stock rom or anything close to it.

My HTC Touch Enchanced (white color) is the same as JohnQ. Bought it in Taiwan & its CHT not WWE. If this ROM (WWE) is for the enhanced version, can I just remove SIM n mSD card, then reset+hold camera btn to bootloader then flash it with this ROM. Will it work? I do not want to brick my touch.

Yes, I believe the Touch Dual has a different architecture than the Touch. I have both and installing the CABs we use everyday on the Touche is not as easy and straight-forward as it is on the Touch.

I'm not going to do anything with these roms.

But it's safer to have Big storage versions instead of the Full official.
And it's always good to have full official versions around to.

The rom runs on the older Touch devices to.
But i would advice flashing Bram Smulders Touch Dual Rom for More Language support.

I cannot test USPL method because i only have the good old outdated Touch Cripled version. So Pray for some new Cooks and point them the cooking class direction.

Yeah don't flash the original version to your European touch.

Original has newer IPL SPL and radio SPL causes issues when you try to flash another rom.
That's why all that crap is remove.

I can and have only tested and flashed this to European regular 128 MB touch.

The rest is up to the users to test.

Hi Folks!

I've installed the Blue version on my Touch 64/128 and it worked perfectly.
After installed Cyberon's Voice Commander 2.0, when I run it shows the message: "Device is not supported!"
Does anyone knows why that happens?
On the other ROMs I've tryed it didn't happen.

In BootLoader Screen, I see no Green A.Sync icon, means no connection through Active Sync? Is A.Sync Connection needed for flash ROM at all?

Now your searching and finding some answers.

In the bootloader screen theres no activesync connection, the bootloder only shows when your device is connected by usb.
If your booloader says USB at the left bottom, then you are ready to flash a rom!

my brand new touch enhaced's rom info is 2.20.721.2b wwe. but in this thread latest rom is 2.20.707.1B WWE. so it's old version. my i use this old rom to unbricking my device(if it happens). or am i find exactly 2.20.721.2b rom?

I used to have the same Elfin and the same original Rom.

Where can we find the same ???

I think as long as we don't touch the Different Pagepool values it might just run fine on Touch.

Should not happen with the Bigstorage versions anymore.

Flashed it on my Green 64/128 Touch and works GREAT! Actually loads faster and responds quicker than the stock version. Only issue when doing more than a few things at once it gives me the low memory error. Anyway to disable that notification? I have SKTools and Touch Settings. Thanks!

why this rom... dont let the audio manager player songs.. without show up the low free memory and disable the app...... but i have free memory... the same happens with the destinator gps the pop up show up low free memory... and disable the app too...

i got my htc touch which is in chinese rom then i change it to english rom at first i thought i got it right after awhile its keeps on rebooting so i turned it off when i tried to open it i got stuck to smart mobility. I can open the boot loader i tried to flash the original rom i got error 294. My IPL is 2.20.0002 and SPL is 1.11.0000 please help me....

I have the italian versione of htc touch p3450.
I tried to flash a rom but something went wrong.
Now it doesn't start: on the startup screen (smart mobility) there's written "OS 3.7.0.0" in red. It is stopped on thi screen and nothing happens.
I tried soft and hard reset but nothing changed.
Now i want to flash with its original rom and bootloader, but there's nothing on the htc website (i searched very well).
So... which of these ones i have to use? I tried them all but none of them worked. One said something about my device "vendor id", and so on...
Does anyone can help me???
If not, i can throw away my touch....

ROM code 2.2x.7xx.xB is for Touch ENHANCED VERSION. If your RAM/ROM is not 128/256 Version, then you need to flash your ELF with ROM code 1.1x.7xx.xB version

i have Tocuh Elf(64/128) my original rom was 2.20.404.1b wwe then i flashed a cocked rom an now i use this rom 2.20.707.1b wwe and works great.The thing is that the 2.20.xxx.x rom's are not only for Elfin ,so the people who say that these roms work only for Elfin are wrong.

What is the difference between the above ROM and ROM 2.20.707.1R WWE (RADIANT BURGNUNDY)?

I want to start loading cooked ROM's, but need an original back for warranty purposes. Would a HTC service centre in India know that ROM 2.20.707.1R WWE (RADIANT BURGNUNDY) is NOT the original ship ROM and deny me warranty?
Any Indian members with experience at a HTC service centre and how clued up they are about original ship and non-original ship ROM's?

Big storage is the easiest way to go.

No i don't use Koko's kitchen i'm a bit oldfashioned.

So for a WM6 rom HyperCore is the way to go.

From there it basicly is.
1. Extract official rom (SPL and IPL and other stuff will also be dumped)
2. After Extracting emediatly recook the files without chaning anything.
3. Then using HTCRT only repack the OS.nb file back into RUU_Signed and flash.

No hex editing tricks or hacking needed.

If you want to take an old WM 6.0 and make it WM6.1

Well, let's just say normal 6.0 takes 15 minutes 6.1 an hour if nothing is being changed. (quicker once i remember which files to keep from WM6.1 and which to use from Original OEM)
