First of all this ROM is basically an extension over JIGGS AKU 0.7A ROM ..
Thanks to Jiggs (Thanks Mate!), abusalza for his kitchen and all the other community members:)

This new ROM is much faster than the old one thanks to some more tweaks and newer versions..
The Rom is 6MB PAGEPOOL.... and includes the following.. :-

1. HTC DIALER
2. Total Commander
4. HTC communication manager
5. HTC Action Screen
6. Network wizard
7. WM5torage 1.78
8. HTC keypad , HTC Keyboard(with T9 Input )
9. HTC CUBE , works AGAIN this time FASTER , MORE RESPONSIVE and as before the Installation is SEMI-AUTOMATIC..:D(Senses left-right movement ,Very similar to the real HTC TOUCH) Thanks to Kona_Mtbkr
11.HTC Audio Manager and the Plugin..
12.FINGER SCROLL CONTACTS , comes pre configured with default softkey etc..(icontacts )
13.Many other Misc. add-ons also included
14.X-Button
15.HTC calculator

The free RAM is about - 20 -22 MB(with cube ,and HTC HOME running)

INSTALLATION
1. Put device to bootloader mode: (CAMERA+RESET)
2. Connect device to PC under Windows XP using USB cable
3. Run the executable DSUU.EXE
4. Follow on-screen procedure

After installation is complete , on the first boot you will be asked to install programs , please dont skip any one of them as this may result in malfunction ..:p , and also install 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7 .cab files on your phone memory when prompted ..
IMPORTANT NOTE- 2.CAB ASKS FOR REBOOT WHEN INSTALLED PRESS CANCEL(right soft key) AFTER YOU INSTALL IT AS OTHER APPLICATIONS HAVE TO BE INSTALLED TOO..(sry forgot to edit..)
PLEASE DONT SKIP ANY INSTALLATION..
After all the programs are installed and you have rebooted once ..
Go to Programs MENU and open SIM MANAGER ,copy all your contacts to phone memory .
NOW REBOOT AGAIN..
You might notice bit slowness during first few startup but dont worry ...it will only be for a few seconds after which everything works smoothly..


After this you are all set to go , the left softkey opens up Action Manager which gives you quick access to new messages etc.. , the right key opens up the new contacts application .

A DOWN TO UP MOVEMENT ON THE SCREEN WOULD RESULT IN OPENING OF THE CUBE.
WHEN THE CUBE IS OPENED YOU CAN CLOSE IT BY SNIPPING YOUR FINGER UP TO DOWN.


FURTHER NOTES :-
1. I have also included Flash Video Bundle in an seperate folder when you UNRAR the rom ... you can install it along with TCPMP player(also included.) to view sites like Youtube etc..
2. In the Previous ROM Slide to Unlock was included by default ,this time i have included it as an optional .cab setup so incase you are interested you can simply install it , Note - You don't need to change the skin as thats all preconfigured in a custom CAB

Does this ROM solve the MMS problem on the previous version?
In the previous version of this ROM, I am having problems receiving MMS even after I do Auto COnfiguration and a Soft-Reset. I did not have this problem when I was on JIGG's AKU070. :(

I can't really say...but i think it should..man coz nothing at all related to MMS has been touched from the AKU.7A ..so i guess it will..

wow awesome! what a good-looking rom. i love it very much. You've done a great job mate... keep up the good work. so far there's no problem with this rom. the cube turn nicely to the left and right. the other htc application are good as well. Oh ya, one thing, after i install Audio Booster, the skin of audio manager return to blue not black anymore but it's functioning well. Once again thank you for giving a new look and life to black atom!

Yes , you are ..did you care to read the instructions..........please read them
Icontacts works after you have copied all contacts to phone memory..
As for the cube i would suggest you to read the instructions carefully , install all application..in phone memory..

No need to reflash just to a HARD-BOOT(Power +RESET) and follow instructions..

Yeah I read them very much..before running the ROM anyway, I did try to do Hard Reset to redo the installation of the cab files but it always hangs up after the 4.cab installation...I'm doing a reflash of the ROM from bootloader to try..

yup..a few times..also I noticed it hangs so much..it only responds to up and down movements..not the left and to the right...

Dude , you must have done something wrong...it works fine.all movements work..L-R R-L...and its the best Cube for our Atom So far.. May be this is not just the ROM for you:)

haha just reflashed my atom with this cube, so far its cute :D the iContact works well, fast and responsive. The quick launch, is ok but bit of lagging in opening any of the option sms, email etc. In that case I prefer to open it from HTC Home as it will be faster.

However after any of soft reset, the system would hanged for several seconds which I believed related to HTC Home, and found that it can't be uninstall, but by disabling it and after reset everything goes fine. Same goes to theme selection which won't change and need to soft reset. I am appreciate if the Windows Mobile logo at the below right corner to be remove for this upcoming ROM.

I am going to install my applications from the memory card after this, and to check if any of them would result any incompatibilities to the system.

Ok , you are rite there is a hang up of 5 seconds on boot due to HTC HOME after which everything works ..
Quick Launch is i think quite good since many people wanted to access things faster..and provided you are disabling the home plugin ..quick launch is the only alternative..
The themes problem has been listed in the known bugs part of my first post and i am looking for a workaround..

Thanks for this cool ROM man..I just got an ATOM (passed down to me) 2 days ago and tried this out. Keep up the good work :)

I've tested out the MMS, it works perfectly fine for me :D

The only thing is that Start letters (top left corner) & my time (top right corner) is in black. The icons are in white (power, volume, signal)..Wondering why. Maybe I should change the skin and see if it will work.. Anyhow, this is a job well done :) Thanks again!!

I just installed your touch edition ROM. Overall it is a nice ROM, i like it. Btw, how to disable/remove touch keyboard/keypad?? i prefer the old version when typing sms with no T9 input, much more comportable!.

When I tried to flash this rom in bootloader mode, the utility show error about "... you need to choose ...mot.. file first" (I forgot to take the screenshot)
In stop while doing 'radio stack' part.
Then I restart my device and it can show blue atom logo, then white screen until a beep which sound like it startup successly. When I connect to winxp, activesync try to automatically get ip address but failed (probably device was not respons)
The big problem is when i want to reflash again, i couldn't get into bootloader mode, the camera button seems not working.
I could do soft reset from the hole, hard reset, but cannot get into bootloader mode.
Does anyone know another method to get into bootloader mode without using camera button ?
or maybe trick the activesync to connect to winxp, but i'm not sure if the active sync soft inside device was good since the flash stop in the middle.

If you want to disable T9 ..when using touch keypad..PRESS XT9 key..you will go back to abc mode..

First off great ROM, a couple of requests for your next build.

- Obviously try and get the extROM unlock fixed.
- Replace the boot screens and home theme with the HTC defaults.
- Offer an alternate version with RescoExplorer instead of cecommander.
- Include xscalar.

I dont want sound ungrateful here you really have done a great job, I'd just like to see a few little changes to make it the perfect rom for me ;)

First , it is a great rom with a great work !

I know that's not right when i ask : i don't know where to config the HTC Home, HTC Audio Manager, Cube and many stuffs to make a HTC Touch.

With the Touch Keyboard and Touch Keypad , i want to disable T9 completly cos i use another language. This's maybe help my Atom faster. Beside that, some time Touch Keyboard show style like normal keyboarf but biger (~ 1.5 time, easy to tap by finger) and "touch". I like that but dont know how to set it alway show that. And when i make a new SMS , if i use a non Touch ROM ver, when i type a part of name in "To" , it will show a list of contacts which have that part of name . So, i just chose the right contact and it will auto fly to "To" . Now, with Touch ver, i cant do that !

With the audio tab in HTC Home, i can't make it work with 3 buttons controler. If i tap into the "Launche the ..." (some time it show the name of an audio file), i will run Window Media Player. I want it run the HTC Audio player (when tap the audio icon in Cube) ... So far, many things i want to config but i dont know how and where !

Do a hard reset ... and re install all the cabs again ...in the phone memory..remember not to restart until you have installed all cab's

At the first time, my Cube work . After the second soft reset , Cube did not work. (i had reseted my phone for 4-5 time but cube did not work too). I check in Windows/startup/ , the shortcut was bio... still there. I ran it and Cube ran too. After that, although i reset my ATOM many time, cube still work well !!

dear udayrulz, the cube do not response every time i touch from down to up ..the chances is around 20% to call out.. my contact list in cube can only save up to 3 contacts only.. the less will disappear after the cube was closed..
may be it just happened to me or what ;) ?thx for ur great ROM

When Htc Toolbar Comes On Screen..with All Sms Option..when U Tap Them...in Lower Left Side It Comes As Delete [instead Of New]..and In Menu Etc..no Forward Option....

So For New Or Forward Its Problematic...also In To : Option Where In Original If U Just Write Name The Name And Contact Comes..here ..nothing Comes..u Have To Go To Tool And Select Insert Contact...

also when u insert the number..etc and try sending..it says....does not recognise..etc.e.tc...every time u send a new sms....:confused:

Same Happen In New Sms...option..................

Some Probs With Wi-fi.not Working And O2 Sms Plus Not Working....and Few More...

Your Touch edition ROM really rocks on my Atom ...I have even added iPhone theme over it ...and could use both the applications simultaneously ...I mean swiping cube on iPhone Today screen.....desprately waiting for your second edition RON... :D

Just load Uday's Touch edition ROM ( refer post #1 ) .... then search the forum for iPhone theme.....just go on adding applications one by one...you can ignore the one which is really not required like Mort Player, gCalc , whether page etc., though I have loaded it...after loading and activating both application, I have free mem is 6.4 Mb and free programm memory is 9.7 Mb.....

I have upgraded with HTC Action Screen "MUSIC, PHOTO, AUDIO" jpg image has posted in in download section. After up grading it gives an error something like "HTC Action Screen error file has not lisenced / certificate error" A similar software in the market like "Touch Commander" li gives the O2 same look like "HTC TOUCH"

so i have again degrated it with XDA ATOM "ATOMWM607AB3WWE.exe"

Now i am downloding Touch Edition V 3 and wit Upgrade it againg by SUNDAY.

Lets hope it fixes this problem.
