what is it, exactly - i read that:

but i am not sure, if it is safe to remove whole folder from kitchen, or not.
are these files used by system or other applications?

if i remember right, you donīt get the allign screen - screen if you remove the fwupdate
thats why in most kitchens itīs not visible and you canīt remove it.

but i may be wrong
