I have been using the same OEM packages in any ROMs I have built for a while now as they seem to be quite stable. I am now using It's Right's 5.2.1933 base with my own customisations and collection of OEM packages.
I just noticed that I am using Camera Version 3.0 (Camera, Tools, About - Version 3.00 Build 25498). I seem to recall that there is a version 3.3 available? Are there any differences? What files must I change to get camera version 3.3 in my OEM package?

Thanks

Andy

As stated, the 3.3 camera package is in theloon's kitchen. Personally I tried it and didn't like it (I'm just too used to 3.0 I guess). New camera is portrait based by default (I always thought I'd like that better but didn't after trying it). Also the 3.3 camera does not do templates (if you use those) and a few other things. The app seems cleaner, but not as many features.

Just my opinion...

Ahh, right I remember a ROM I had a while ago that had the portrait camera - I didn't realise this was the HTC OEM Camera 3.3. I thought this as some other (non HTC) camera package, I just thought 3.3 was a later (read it virtually the same just updated) application.
I think I'll leave the version 3.0 where it is.

Thanks, Andy
