Hi I have an XDA11s that when i try to charge I just get a red led instead of usual orange then green and unit does not charge any suggestions

Replace the battery?
Replace the charging cable?

i agree with jdc...

but additional check...
- undervolt?

i had that problem when they gave me a 220v input charger
with a 110v sticker. i ripped off the sticker to find the embossed
print of the right voltage needed.
