Qatar users

Hey guys, I am in Qatar for about 3 weeks and was wondering if there is any ATT users here. This is aimed more at the military guys and gals, but if your a local, that would be even better. What radio are you guys using and did you guys have to buy a Qtel sim card or are there others. I called ATT about thier world data traveller plan and they said that I wont be ale to get service here for data. Any advice would be good.

I dont know if cell service is like it was in baghdad but i think you are limited to the local sim cards. There were several people with cellphones and they all ran through the same carrier and i have yet to see anyone there with at data plan. I've been home for about 5 months now but i doubt they've made much progress.
