I use IPL/SPL: 3.08 and Radio 2.69.11, never had a problem and i am in Queens, NY

I'm using IPL/SPL: 3.08 , Radio 2.19, never had a service problem and I am in New Hampshire :cool:

G3, IPL/SPL: 3.08, Radio: 2.69.11, works perfectly in Oregon. I've been fortunate enough to never experience the missed call problem that so many speak of.

I use IPL/SPL: 3.08 and Radio 2.69.11 with zero problems. I'm located in Central Indiana. BTW I have a G3 phone but I don't think that will make a difference.

2.69, g3, 3.08 too in WA

2.19 seems very stable too, with a little bit less battery drain, but it does take longer to pickup a signal. both seem fairly equal in the reception (number of bars and call quality). battery drain seems like maybe 20 min difference on a full charge _if_ that and it may just be in my head, but i'm so used to having this thing plugged in all the time anyways :)

i did have an issue a few days ago, i think with 2.19, where txt messages took 3-4 hours to arrive, but i blame the rom i was working on or TMO... i hate their data network...

While the 2.19 series radio rom is considered most stable overall the 2.69.11 radio rom gives the best performance on the tmobile network...data transfer is significantly more responsive with latency roughly half what it is with 2.19.

For tethering 2.69.11 is the clear winner and I've not had any call issues with it.

in the USA. You can even make better if you can add that Cingular fix cab with it. I will see if I can find it.

i know we all have different results with each radio, would you mind posting why 2.19 works best for you? better battery, no missed calls, fast data transfer, picks up signal quicker, etc?

IPL/SPL 3.08 w/ 2.69 Radio in Carmel, Indiana near Indy. No missed calls and good sound quality

thanks for the info. i asked because i gave my mom my Wizard (im gettin a Hermes) and i wanted to know what radio would provide a better signal than the crap she gets now lol. so from what im seeing, 2.19 or 2.69 seem like the better choices for the T-Mo network
