Hello,

I tried to use Route 66 with my Kaiser but it does not detect the GPS. When I launch Route 66, I can see that the GPS led on the Kaiser blinks for a few seconds, then Route 66 tells me I have no GPS ...
(I also tried Igo and this works fine but I prefere Route 66 ...).

Can someone help me about that ?

Thanks a lot !

Finaly I've found a solution about this : I had to soft reset my Kaiser to solve this problem, now it works !

You're probably not waiting long enough. Every time you launch R66 it'll start up with "No GPS" displayed while the GPS circuit fires up and gets a fix. If you want to avoid that, use GPSTest or a similar app to get the GPS going, then start up R66.

Making sure QuickGPS has its data is also a very good way to speed this up. But unless the GPS had a fix when you hit R66, it's going to start up with "No GPS" displayed.

The problem was not the "no GPS" displayed on the bottom left of the screen. The problem was when launching Route 66, before it displays anything, an error message appeared saying that the GPS was not discovered. I don't know why but I had to reset my Kaiser once, and then Route 66 worked (of course I still need to wait when "no GPS" is displayed).
