The only other option is via a raw image dump to minisd from someone else's phone...and it has to be an identical type phone.....an easier solution is to find someone to resolder the part..I paid a local tv repair place $10 to resolder the usb port back on mine just last week...they made me open the phone to expose the board but the instructions in the service manual that can be downloaded from the wiki tell you how to take it apart.
