Well, I did it after months of having an affair with my Hermes (Jas-Jam),
Schnaps 4.0 / Hong Kong-ordered ebay-risked-6GB shdc card.

I decided to eBay it , in lieu of an O2/MWG XDA Flame retails for $1400 USD I purchased from Hong Kong for $700 USD.. Again on Ebay..scary

I love the phone, the screen is massive 3.5" What a difference an inch makes!! I travel 1-1/2 hours on a train every day each way so my video is important.

But I learnt a few things just before I bought the Flame.
O2 Asia (the Flame is not in Europe where O2 started), has left Europe and sold the business, assets support, and products to a new start-up MWG (http://mwg.com). The CEO of O2 Asia, is staying on (at least for now). This is typical in many take overs to offer continuity. They immediately kicked things off by showing that some new phones are coming, the Flame 2 being one of them.

This then gets to the point of the story.
1) NVIDA that has the GPU on the phone has a new GPU,
2) O2 is gone,
3) MWG is bringing out a successor to the Flame
4) All the O2 phones have WM6 on them and have for a while (except the Flame)
5) Rumors are that there are some issues with the NVIDIA GPU and WM6 not being compatible (on the flame 1).
6) There were emails months ago before the acquisitions, saying WM6 was in testing (nothing since).
7) Emails to both companies on WM6 have gone unanswered in recent weeks.

This leaves it to someone else to come up with a WM6 ROM for the O2.
