Official t-mobile WM6 on unlocked MDA vario II

Hi,

I would like to use the WM6 update wich is now available on the Dutch T-mobile website. The thing is, when I just received my MDA VArio II I decided to move abroad. Therefore I needed to unlock my phone to use it with another provider (yoigo, Spanish)

T-mobile was charging a lot for the un-lock code so I tried a remote on I-mei unlocker wich I bought on the Internet. Worked perfectly

Question is, is my phone still unlocked when I upgrade to Windows Mobile 6?

I would have to say Yes it should Still be Unlocked. Also If you Check the Stickies inthe Upgrading Forum for the Hermes you can see a FREE that's right a FREEEEEE Unlocker for SIM and CID of Your phone. If you Feel like for watever reason your Phone Is Still Locked After the Upgrade. Unlock it Again with the Free Tool Posted on this Site By the Many Avid Users of the Hermes And Gurus of the Forums. The phone will still be sim unlocked after you upgrade to the T-Mobile WM6.

And if not then you can allways unlock it again using the free tools mentioned here.
