O2 Xda Orbit

Hello,

I was planning on purchasing a XDA orbit as it seems to suite my college needs. I was wondering can this phone be updated meaning if it comes with WM5 can I update it with WM6.

The Orbit II is faster (Orbit 201Mhz, Orbit 2 400Mhz), has more RAM and ROM (Orbit ROM 128MB, RAM 64MB; Orbit 2 double of it, 256MB RAM, 128MB ROM), WM6 and Touchflo ;-) (but this i also have on my Orbit 1 ;-) thanxx 2 this Forum ;) :rolleyes: )

To answer the first question

Yes - you can update to WM6 officially via O2's website. The upgrade is FREE and very easy

You may be able to negotiate a good deal for a new contract on an Orbit, especially if you mention the Orbit 2 will be out in a few weeks
