Same with Artemis Touch 3 Full (no cube) with Vista. When i run sychro from mobile (Active synch -> Tap Synch) works fine. I think it 's mobile center problem :( .
XP synch works fine.

I was coping with the same error. The solution is that after the end of the first step (USPL unlocking) DO NOT reset your ppc. Just disconnect it from the USB cable, reconnect it after a few seconds and proceed to the second step, that is flashing the rom (the screen of the ppc might stay white but its ok).
Do it this way and no error message will appear.
