it's batteryStatus with its traylaunch, you have to manually browse to "FreeMem.lnk" and "today.lnk"in \windows, search Batterystatus by chi-tai with google

as this far i tried this ROM, OS CE 5.2.1933 have a better performance than this OS CE 5.2.1938, thats why i am back with OS CE 5.2.1933 and continue working with porting the XIP,.

Quick menu can run from storage card, you can use it from there, I think that's why ppls trying to make the storage card's memory bigger. Thanks anyway :)

be careful when you incorporate applications to ROM. Not all would want to use the apps that you add, it may conflict with their favorite apps, OR it will double the function of their existing choice apps. As much as possible, give other users the freedom to install their desired apps. Once things are added to ROM, it can get messy to disable them because you can't remove them without cooking again.

I don't have those bugs, "Wireless Manager skin missing"= you mean CommManager ? it's in extended rom (that's why I said: you "must" install Comm Manager, Total Commander.... read the original post from pdaviet.net), all the skins is there in extended rom, I'll attach the pic below

Strange neither the Wireless Manager(Default one), Image editor work for me.. and free RAM is 20 mb(running HTC HOME and FtouchFlo)..

I've warned about the "must be installed" softs in the original post from pdaviet.net (search the link at first post of this thread).

when you enter photos from the cube it'll launch htc album (right now I didn't have the really stable htc album, so it's the beta problem, or if you found the perfect htc album, pls share here)
solution is when you launch the photos or videos from the cube or from start menu\multimedia, pls choose any folder, don't press "X" :)

i can listen to music perfectly then i get a call and i pick up the call . after which it will no switch back to music ( this is an issue with the blue tooth drivers as it might not be switching back to A2DP )

i can pick up call i can answer the second call and conference the calls if needed while on my head set without any problems. then to listen to music again i need to turn of my bluetooth head set or the bluetooth on my phone and turn it back on and let it reconnect after which i can then listen to music

use another java manager which can run from your storage card, attached below,just need to copy "j" to the root folder of your storage card, import the reg key, then create a shortcut for it. That 's done

in that case, I suggest you to use the BatteryStatus (in Extended Rom) with its Traylaunch, it has A2DP switcher too, but as I said above, I haven't test it yet

can some one exact the drivers from other roms For bluetooth and and wifi and see the difference in the 2 ??? if u can extract the drivers i dont mind playing around with them to fix the issue. ... jiggs ?? u might know of a way 2 do this??


What i will do is i will use other a2dp devices to see whats going wrong with the audio because im sure this is a very small issue.
at the same time i will have to switch back to jiggs rom cause it used to work fine with my phone.. but great job on the touch aspect it was nice and clean .

1.don't know what happens to your device but someone test my rom they said it works well with A2DP, just the problem of switching between music and calling.
2. modem link and internet sharing were there in \windows, use file exploer to find and create their shortcuts to \windows\start menu\ programs\
3. I didn't face this problem.

STK has been fixed on next version.
HTC album is not really bug, if your device went into freeze, just press "end call" (the red button) it'll live again.
All I want now is another wonderful bootscreen for our Atom. But ppl seem not care about this. :)

Have you tried going to start/settings/connections/bluetooth then press and hold on your headset to select "set as hands free" this should then actiuvate the drivers to allow your headset to work. however there seems to be a bug when using the BT headset as it regularly drops the BT connection.

I remove AutoConfig away with Wireless manager (bcoz now we have HTC Network wizard and Comm Manager). If you want to configure your network, just use Network wizard (in settings\connection), it automatically setups your network, every settings from your network (at least: gprs). I see that it has more networks than Autoconfig and less memory usage.

FIrst Problem..I 've solve it.. (after playing around a little bit ..)

About hanging problem.. I think,it's more about hardware problem by me..

Since in Germany.. and Winter time, where wetter is too cold... Atom hang more than one time a day.. ( said my friend, cos this Atom is not mine..I use Prophet as well)

Now I think for sure ,that it is the problem.. Probably..

1. that's the way the real Touch cube work, once ppl made a Touch cube work with a left or right softkey activation, later Gullum with his no-button-activate cube, then Efrost with his FtouchFlo, then Kona with his works based on the other's works create such an almost-real cube. Now you ask me to come back to the "pre-history" time ? surely not. :cool: To know how to activate the cube see my signature.

2."video", I really don't know how it works, bcos I don't have any video files in my storage card, but I know that if you have them in storage card you can only view their "thumnails" in video, to play them when you click on them, it'll activate WMP to play those video.

3. noway to do that, just change one shortcut by another one, use "cube config" in tools

Found one thing, Im using an iBook btw, when i pair the Atom device to my iBook with bluetooth i only get the Serial Port service, I cant seem to send any files from the laptop to the Atom. Dunno if its just me or general.

If you got winrar, right-click the file, extract it, copy the files to /windows/temp then run the file again, with the atom in bootmode.

Just copy the vietnamise text on register page.. go to wordlingo translator ...select Vitenamise to English and paste the text....you will find english version and register on the original portal by inputing your login name , password , mail id etc.... optional fileld just put any number or leave it blank....and you have done... to gain something, need little extra efforts .. :)

5.2.1938 is the latest real build for ppc devices from MS while 5.2.2000 is a fake build from pda's fan, but 5.2.2000 has greater RAMs than the real build :D, it's strange, huh ?. But you can use any build you want, number is number. Test both and choose the one you like. :)

1.It's for Atom/Atom pure only, If you want to use ITA -> use your ship rom, this is a WWE ROM.

2. You can not restore between difference ROMs, that'll cause your device unstable, and might not work.
3. This ROM is for Atom, I can't help you to use the original hp. If You could flash this ROM to your device without problem, that would be a great success, but I don't recommend you to do so
Please do-it-yourself and don't come back here to complain that your device is dead. Read the thread carefully, I don't see anyone can flash this ROM to any hp device

I found the same problem. I thought it is caused by " device software update utility file" since I copy this file from the previous ROM and paste it over. The problem was solved. Let's try.

I am a new user too, TOMO. This is what I did.
1. Download PDAVIET ROM to Ur desktop. After finishing, U will see the Penguin Icon representing PDAVIET rom on Ur desktop.
2. Click the right button of your mouse on the icon and choose extract to PDAviet...(I use winrar). U will get the folder contained the file for ROM Update. One of these files is "Device software update utility". (I THOUGHT it is the cause of ur problem.)
3. Download the other ATOM ROM such as previous version of PDAVIET and repeat the 2nd procedure. U will get the "Device software update utility" from the previous version.
4. Copy and replace the "Device software update utility" (from the previous ROM to the current one)
5. Now U r ready for ROM updating. Let's go (double click on "Device software update utility")

Anyway, as I am the new user too. I just try to explain what I did to make it work but I don't know the reason. May waiting for the experienced user to explain that to us.

running version 5.2 1938 (all bugs fixed?) and after wm5 it has brought my Atom, a new lease of life..:) the only downside is...unable to connect to wifi .. is that a bug? as read in previous posts somebody had the same issue. .. SO THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED...only new to this so any help is appreciated.. for no reason WiFi started working... so it fixed itself after 3 days ... also installed the new Pointui interface and it is working fine.. so all up great first time Rom

Use the link from the post of noobieku above, that's my latest rom. But this is a beta version with pointUI, without TouchFlo ~30 MB free RAM. If you like the touchFLo ones, try the links at the first post of this thread.

extract the file to C:\Windows\Temp and run Device software update utility.exe from there. If it doesn't help-> download again, maybe your file has been corrupted.

Hello,

I encountered a weird problem when I try to send/receive files via bluetooth on my laptop. It gives me the error that the atom does not have the necessary services. Running your rom btw, and Ive disabled everything aswell, even all the startup items and soft rebooted aswell. Now, here's the funny thing, when I installed PointUI bluetooth works fine, send/receive etc. But when i uninstalled PointUI bluetooth send/receive did'nt work again. Any idea how to correct this?
