Flashed last night. So far I am quite impressed. I was looking for a lightweight ROM without too much clutter. This is a great package apps and useful tools. Performance is good as well - apps are quite responsive.
Good job! Thanks.

I hate that sendspace.com website... I lost count of how many times I got the "Sorry, the free service is out of capacity" message.
Anyway, I'll be clicking that silly link over-and-over until I get my hands on this ROM. I'm curious how this one performs.

Again as my roms are made for me. so why would I need a registry editor if my hacks are already installed. and as for the dialer its the best one I feel so if you don't like reinstall other one.
thanks for the links guys.

Whatever, Mr. "I'll add links and posts in a bit". If you finish the first post FIRST, and maybe the question won't have to be asked. I read the first post, and most everything else you've posted, which is why I didn't REQUEST anything be added. However, just saying its stripped down is one thing, this is a whole frickin' other ROM altogether. Maybe that's why you went a whole version number up, but it's no reason for you to be a jerk about it. Nevertheless, thanks for making some good roms.

so, has this 2.0 still the battery draining issue?
the 318 roms (like ANTC 1.0) automaticly connects to prefered wireless network. Does this 2.0 version can do it correctly too??
thx ANTC, really appreciate your work! clean and fast roms without to much clutter, just the essentials and touch scrolling!

number one man I only added pictures and the pagepool to the first post and other download links. how would that change the programs of the rom. I'm just sick of people not reading everything is clearly posted and I even added pictures before your post. I think you should accept the fact you didn't read and made yourself look like an ass.

Looks like a pretty sweet rom. Can one install the cube after flashing by running a cab or similar? If so does anyone have a link to such a cab that works on a Wizard? I've been burned numerous times running generic WM6/Touch cabs such as HTC Random Access that don't work on a Wizard and necessitate a hard reset.

that's funny...so there are really people using that cube??!
had it on several roms during some time, and noticed I always used it only once: just after installing the rom to check if the cube works...but never to really use it
so ANTC, I hope you will leave it out of your roms, just like it is ;)

you'll never see a cube in any of my roms unless there's flip in the univerese or some one paid me off LMAO
but there's no need for the cube all the shortcuts are there in the hardware messages, IE, contacts and comm manger and whatever else that could be there its useless. I only find touch scrolling usefull.

yup, even if you're not familiar with these tools, follow those directions to pull apart the nbf, and just remove the packages in the OEM folder that you don't want and rebuild it. you shouldn't need any cooking experience to remove a few of the packages, just don't go removing everything the first time :)

I found your roms very powerfull and stable. Maybe thinks to cook the google maps has a cab. If google realese other new version, is posible removed and install the new one. Google maps is a good aplication in your roms:D
another good aplication is WM5storage 1.78, good for copy files to the SD without sync. Maybe cleartemp configured to clean the used aplication in the starmenu when power on or reset the phone. I realy like your roms, this is only other ideas.
Thanks for your work..

no AS issues here, but I'm glad that this version of Google maps doesn't squawk about the network connection every 10 seconds... the location feature isn't perfect, but its pretty good for not having GPS :)

the battery draining fix cabs seem to have some very positive effect (on the ANTC 1.0 rom I'm still using). So maybe these registry settings could be included in 2.1?

From my experiences, I believe that the less files you have in the windows folder the faster it might run.
Also I'd give another vote for WM5storage. That's the #1 app that my friends/co-workers ask me for. Some other software to consider is FdcSoft PIM Backup and to a lesser extent FdcSoft Task Manager.

Can someone please send me their HKLM>Comm registry settings please? I've been having problems with my internet connections with Wifi and GPRS and I believe some of my registry settings are incorrect.
The following entries were set to "0" and as soon as I changed them to "1" my Wifi internet connection works now.
HKLM>Comm>TNETWLN1>Params>HTCPreloadStatus
HKLM>Comm>TNETWLN1>Params>HTCPreloadWifi
Its weird that even re-flashing to a couple other ROMS (including factory T-Mobile ROM) the connection wasn't fixed. Not until I read thru these forums and someone mentioned the registry fix.
Still having a problem with GPRS though. So hopefully once someone sends me their registry setting for this ROM so I can compare I might find the solution.
Thanks in advance.

I am anxious that if I load your ROM I might loose that since I read that yours sports 2GB card capacity.
Is it the case that I might loose my 4 GB capacity?

This ROM looks very promising! Downloading it now.... After trying several "feature packed" roms, Im looking for something that is a little more streamlined.....
Rom cooking is for the gifted... Ive stripped NBF files and stared blankly at OEM and SYS folders and .rgu and .dsm files till I got sooo confused, I couldnt talk straight for 2 days... hehe.. JK... but I do believe it takes a certain talant to cook a really good rom... I cant wait to try this one out....
Question time: ( you knew it was coming.... )
After searching and searching I cannot find the MSN Live/Messenger plugin for download as a cab file, and being as dumbfounded about rom cooking as I am, is it possible to get this plugin installed without having to cook a rom with it? Or a point to of a place where it can be downloaded as a cab.....
Many thanx ANTC....

No battery tweaks were installed and the registry remains unchanged....
Installed programs so far:
WKTask
Microsoft Live Search
Microsoft VoiceCommand 1.60
HTC Audio Manager Today Plugin
HTC Audio Manager (altho its not used - just needed it for the plugin for WMP)
So far so good with this rom! In the words of McDonalds, "Im Lovin It!"

Does anyone else have issues with Contacts? If, for instance, I open Contacts and go to options to change the default area code, put in the correct one and hit OK, Contacts just crashes and closes. If I attempt to alter any of the contacts that I've sync'd, Contacts just crashes and closes.
The only proggies I've added are HTC Home and HTC Action. Any help would be appreciated.

don't have this issue, but I'm still on Antc 1.0...
but as a quick fix, you could try PocketInformant...much better than build in contacts app...

No Issues with the contacts here... changes area code and entries with no problems......
Maybe a hard reset or a re-flash could fix it for you.....
Updates:------------
After finding the Windows Live Mobile Plugin and installed it.... Performance has dropped dramaticly.... Simple things like opening calander now takes up to 5 seconds longer than it did before to load. Even after a soft reset. Battery life is still great... used all day on a full charge and now only have 60% remaining.
So far, The rom of choice.....

With v2.0 MMS pictures are displayed within the message or not? I'm still using 1.0, and only thing I don't really like is the one, that when I receieve MMS I cannot see the picture within, first save and then I can see the picture.
Any "cure" for that maybe?

Thanks for posting this release!! It's a clean and fast ROM. I used this version to cook my own ROM (using HyperCore kitchen -> nice tool for newbies!), stripping Google Maps and a few other things I don't need.
Two remarks after using it for two days:
1. Isn't it better to move/copy the Office applications shortcuts to Programs? I almost thought that these were not installed, but it turned out that the links are only placed directly under the Start menu.
2. I had some difficulties while trying to access Internet pass-through using ActiveSync. Unchecking the advanced network capabilities in USB to PC settings solved my problem.

I hear ya loud and clear ANTC... I would remove it for the performance sake, but I use WML way tooo much (Email, MSN Messenger, etc).... So I dont mind suffering just a little....
Updates:------------
Since Ive installed ANTC's ROM, everything has worked wonderfully (other than installing Windows Mobile Live (see previous posts)). Battery Life is great. No Lockups, No Missed calls (that I know of (but a couple missed calls did register as a recieved call)). Radio is Faria 2.69.11.

Thank for the rom! Just installed it on my wizard.
What does Start Clean do?
And Touch Scroll doesn't work. (Tested in Start->Programs) Or is this because I removed smartskey from the startup folder? :)

And I got a complaint about someones activesync not working but I'm pretty sure its there computer anyone else having AS issues?
It seems that I have an issue with ActiveSync 4.5 as well. In my case, the outlook synchronization (contacts & calendar) failed with error 8503001C. I tried to remove all items and test it one by one, it worked. But when I added some new calendar items (appointments), again this error happened. Not sure if this is caused by your build or something else.
Nevertheless, I can still use all the other ActiveSync functions (install, explore, internet pass-through).
