This is not suicide but still you will need the radio patcher that Olipro made, you thought that the unlocker Olipro made was not the one made the Cheetah sim-unlock? well, i tell you, YOU ARE WRONG!!! Olipro's Cheetah unlocker is the one responsible why your Cheetah sim-unlock. (and also thaks POF for the HERM Unlocker for the 3rd Step for the Cheetah Unlocking Process.)

Direct unlock with HERM unlocker will not work. unless you can use the 2 steps of olipro's cheetah unlocker. i am sure for that coz i have lots of treo 750 unlocked count is 37 cheetahs. thanks olipro and pof.

I think you have to have flash patched radio to unlock - try Olipro unlocker - works great.

yes, this is fantastic.
i am from China, got a vodafone simlocked treo750v, and sent to professional cell phone unlocking company for unlocking, they played with it for a month, and couldn't get it down.
i followed the steps here, run the first 2 steps of the CheetahUnlocker, then run this software from machine, it's working now!

Hows this for a fluke of att good csr. I was going to order the usb data cable and unlock my treo 750w with the programs supplied here (MAJOR props to the writers of said programs!) and desides (reguardless of the past bad experiance with ATT/Cingular with getting a subsidy code) to call ATT and see if i could aquire one. well the first call was bunk, the csr said "I am sorry i only give codes to ATT subscribers" i said I have gotten them before he replied " not from this CSR *click*" well that royally pressed my pi$$ off button big time, I called back to talk to his supervisor, but instead, i desided to explaine the rude CSR to another one. she got the IMEI and location and gave me a subsidy code right then and there over the phone. I have read that it takes 24-48 hours to recive a reply via email and was very impressed with this ATT rep (for the first time in a long time, i was with cingular and they had the WORST csr in history)

Just thought I would share, and again Major props to the writers of the unlocking software.

Yes count me as another one where Olipro's unlocker would always fail with the "System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The system cannot find the file specified" message, to which no one has a real solution.

However, this worked after going through the failed Cheetah Unlocker as mentioned already.

Cheetah Unlocker does not work on all 750s. I have two Vodaphone 750's that it could not finish on. The Hermes Unlock tool did the trick.

You cannot unlock cheetah if you dont use the 2 steps of the unlocker, thanks to the hermes unlocker that unlock the cheetah.

I've been reading many of the posts on unlocking my Cingular Treo 750 so that I can us it with Tmobile.

I'm sorry, but I'm very confused!

I've seen references to all of the programs and procedures listed below, but I can't figure out which one(s) I need to use.

Hermes SPL, Cheetah, Unlock program, radio mod, Olipro's Cheetah unlocker, Cheetah sim-unlock. HERM Unlocker for the 3rd Step for the Cheetah Unlocking Process

At this time, I don't want to upgrade Windows on the 750, though I would consider it once I get it working with Tmobile.

All I really want to do is unlock it!

I am not a current Cingular/ATT customer, but I worked with the person who owned this particular phone, and we called ATT to get the code. They gave us one, but it didn't work, and then they had us try a number of things, but it still didn't work.

At some point, it may have said we had tried it 5 times, and it would not go further. I'm not sure if that did happen and, if so, how many trys it said. We were doing so many things, and talking to a number of ATT reps, that I don't remember all of the details!

In any case, would someone kindly give me the (hopefully simple) steps to download and run whatever program is needed to unlock my 750?

I would appreciate it!

The reason people say "No" which mean No because they dont know how to read or have any basic knowledge about following directions. The people that vote No here probably dont even know how to set the clock on their VCR.

IT WORKED on my Treo 750v. (v from Vodafone)

Directly and simply with Herm_Unlock_v3.exe.

I sent the file over bluetooth and I ran it. Unlocking process lasted let's say.. a minute or so... and ended with a success message. After that i inserted an Orange sim card and... that's it.

Same with me
I can compleate only step One and Two of Olipros unlocker, it will gives error

After step one and two I used Magic unlocker and flash back original Treo radio (step three of olipros unlocker)

Note:
You can activate olipros unlockers all three button by moving cursor to its command window and by typing '@' key

I have unlocked few Treos by this method.
