Could well be my last ROM for ATOM(Might have to sell it off to afford iphone )

First of all this ROM is basically an extension over JIGGS AKU 0.7A ROM ..
Thanks to Jiggs, abusalza for his kitchen my bud Garmin and all the other community members

This ROM is faster than the old one thanks to some more tweaks and newer versions..
The Rom is 6MB PAGEPOOL.... and includes the following.. :-

1. HTC DIALER
2. Total Commander
4. HTC communication manager
5. HTC Action Screen
6. PocketRAR
7. WM5torage 1.78
8. HTC ALBUM(NEW!)
9. HTC CUBE (Updated to latest version ,easier installation)
(Senses left-right movement ,Very similar to the real HTC TOUCH) Thanks to Kona_Mtbkr
11.HTC Splash Screen and Theme
12.FINGER SCROLL CONTACTS , comes pre configured with default softkey etc..(icontacts )
13.Many other Misc. add-ons also included
14.WmTask
15.HTC calculator
16.HTC Windows Media Player SKIN
17.PhotoEditor Back!
18.New Today Plugins(Retro Clock and Quick Launch)

Removed from previous ROM
1. HTC HOME PLUGIN(Can be installed ..but not included in EXT ROM)
2. HTC Touch Keyboard



The free RAM is about 20 -22 MB(with cube ,and Plugins running)
Free Storage :- 35 Mb.

Known Bugs:-
1.Extended ROM does not get unlocked(looking for a solution)
2.A2DP problems
3.Disabling Or Enabling Home Plugins Requires Soft Boot now..(FIXED!!)


INSTALLATION
1. Put device to bootloader mode: (CAMERA+RESET)
2. Connect device to PC under Windows XP using USB cable
3. Run the executable DSUU.EXE
4. Follow on-screen procedure

After installation is complete , on the first boot you will be asked to install programs , please dont skip any one of them as this may result in malfunction .. , and also install RomConfig files on your phone memory when prompted ..


PLEASE DONT SKIP ANY INSTALLATION..
After all the programs are installed and you have rebooted once ..
Go to Programs MENU and open SIM MANAGER ,copy all your contacts to phone memory . and disable plugins you do not want.
HTC default theme can be selected from TODAY SETTINGS


NOW REBOOT AGAIN..



After this you are all set to go , the left softkey opens up Action Manager which gives you quick access to new messages etc.. , the right key opens up the new contacts application .

A DOWN TO UP MOVEMENT ON THE SCREEN WOULD RESULT IN OPENING OF THE CUBE.
WHEN THE CUBE IS OPENED YOU CAN CLOSE IT BY SNIPPING YOUR FINGER UP TO DOWN.


FURTHER NOTES :-
1. I have also included Flash Video Bundle in an seperate folder when you UNRAR the rom ... you can install it along with TCPMP player(also included.) to view sites like Youtube etc..
2. In the Previous ROM Slide to Unlock was included by default ,this time i have included it as an optional .cab setup so incase you are interested you can simply install it , Note - You don't need to change the skin as thats all preconfigured in a custom CAB
3. HTC HOME also Included..

i used the htc default today screen...... but y is the today screen scrolling? desktop is supposed to fit... not scroll

1. Quick FIX = Open programs..hold stylus on X button ..go to preferences > Skins >and DISABLE "Use a skin file for X/Ok button...

2.Disable extra plugins from today screen ..its obvious that if you have more plugins than the screen can hold , it will use scroll bars to show them all:)

Just flashed into this ROM, ok just my early findings..
1. SIM Manager won't displayed the contacts for a few seconds and there are return message about network errors. However it will be ok after we wait for a while.
2. Contacts, I am find a bit difficult to 'close' it unless using 'close all' or 'terminate'. Normal close won't work.

Now I am looking for the spinning cube as what ppl are saying, is there any? oh man... feel so embarrassed with this.... :o :D

Just downloaded your ROM, and when i tried to flash i it,i got a message "YOUR COUNTRY ID OR DEVICE ID ERROR". what does it mean? do i missed something??
Im currently using jigg's latest ROM.
I do flashing through activesync. I didn't put my atom on boatloader mode coz it'll automaticaly connect.

When Htc Toolbar Comes On Screen..with All Sms Option..when U Tap Them...in Lower Left Side It Comes As Delete [instead Of New]..and In Menu Etc..no Forward Option....

So For New Or Forward Its Problematic...also In To : Option Where In Original If U Just Write Name The Name And Contact Comes..here ..nothing Comes..u Have To Go To Tool And Select Insert Contact...

also when u insert the number..etc and try sending..it says....does not recognise..etc.e.tc...every time u send a new sms....

Same Happen In New Sms...option..................

@Uday - Mate i have tried your roms a couple of times now and the cube just doesnt want to behave, yes it appears but only after trying a number of times by going down to up on the screen. Seems to just activate when it wants too. For me and my device it is just not stable. I noticed you changed this from V3 to V2.5, look forward to the bug fixes in the upcoming edition. Sorry didnt check for any other faults as the major attraction "the cube" just didnt do it for me.

This is another findings with this ROM, maybe I missed something during the installation.
1. Whenever I am installing any applications into the device, which in my case SPB Phone suite, Resco Explorer, SPB Imageer, Opera and Memaid, those application only can be launch after reboot. Same goes to uninstalling it. The previous ROM this never happen except whenever changing the theme. Anybody of you have the same problem similar to this?

I would suggest trying to increase the Gesture delay settings on ur ATOM..,to do that go to program files ..FtouchFLo...open Ftouchfloconfig.txt and increase the gesture wait delay value ...

Yup! how to set, lets say, my picture from storage card as default?? not from the phone memory one.

hi,must must go to my device---my documents---create new folder and rename it "my ringtones" ..

now using file explorer (build in) select and hold mp3 file and choose " set as ringtone" it should be ok now.. working on mine.

Uday, good work for the latest rom you released here. As for issue like lag in firing the cube, I increased the gesture from 10000 to 20000 and reduced the delay time from 100 to 50, as I can see, the cube appear and rotates at lightning speed :D

As per the previous, closing the contact with wktask does not work, still need to choose 'close all' function.

Thanks, installing another plug-in would take my precious space. I assigned the left soft key, named it Lock and put the application full path as \Program Files\S2U2\s2u2 Done, S2U2 manual locking at your finger :D

Yes you can do that as well, But HTC Action Screen now needs a shortcut in your today screen. Some people would still prefer left soft key for New (msg/calendar/task et.al.). ergo. it's the same as putting S2U2 in left softkey or in today plugin. BTW, im wondering if there is a software that can both customize left and right soft key??? hehehe.

I think udayrulz is did some modified in the version 'cause he will release a new version soon with some update of course..
But yes, if you download the file you will see the name still V3.
just wait and hope the new version will come in soon.. :D

No, it isn't bug, because FtouchFlo was running, so that you can not align your screen. If you want so, you must disable FtouchFlo first (delete its FtouchFlo.lnk in \windows\startup), then reset your device.

@udayrulz - Mate it has been a while since i have returned, I havent read the other posts in this thread but just thought i should follow up on my question for my piece of mind.

Touch is working on fine on the atom now, just updated and have tried both the latest touch roms posted XDA. (passing the atom onto the GF now since it is loaded with eyecandy - got my hands on a kaiser now ;)

Install is smooth and does eveything it is meant to. To get touch working correctly i had to increase the gesture wait to 10000 (didnt really make any difference) next i also increased the Timeout to 200.

currently using PDAVIET 'no bugs' rom on Atom and while stable the touchflo does not seem to work well. reading through it sounds like this update has fixed some things. would it be worth changing to this Rom?

also...is word, excell, ppt etc included in this rom as uploaded another Rom & it only contained Ms word.

I discovered pop up error "%1 was not found" when launching PDF file from CECmd .Any suggestion on how to fix it. Temporary solution that i can think of is by open acrobat reader LE first and open .pdf from that program.

Installed and followed the instructions all looks good.. had HTC contacts working :) but after active sync (contacts, favorites, appointments) HTC contacts will no longer work...:confused: the contacts scroll, you can see them all, you can select (the name is highlighted) but the contact will not open... a fix anybody?

FYI, i use minimize (slide your thumb from top to bottom screen) to close the iContact... the close button doesn't work.

there's a huge black htc logo blocking the sms screen. can we remove it? or at least change the logo to a better quality one?

After trying some of touch edition available, just my personal opinion, sorry if im mistaken im very very newbie and dont know much,

my personal opinion : even touch v.3 is available but i think udayz version is the complete and the best of all, battery life maybe a little problem, but everything work perfecly for newbie, doesnt have to add this add those, all in one compact and easiest instalation, for those like me who doesnt understand much, udayz version is very easy

Hope any of masters who upload roms also consider that a lot of people like me ( newbie ) who download their roms, usually newbie hope much, little experience he he he ( or maybe its just me ) I Know u the masters work very hard and i really appreciate for your works, for your time, and for your generosity to upload for us

Just wanted to say, this is a fantastic rom and I'm very happy with it. A fresh new life for my old Atom :lol:

I had that problem too... with the contacts, using a quick up to down motion closes it, while down to up brings up the cube.

Hopefully Uday will carry on with any updates, I think there's a new version of HTC album and Cube already, I did an upgrade for HTC album with the directory selection.. Just waiting for a newer more stable version of the cube, the current vesion's kinda laggy.

1. my wireless manager turns white..
2. FM rafdio function is destroyed (no interface)
3. no O2 media plus ...:( skin files corrupted..

Hi make sure you update the extended ROM too, just follow the upgrade steps, given by uday,.

o my god..... jigg's rom couldnt connect thru BT with activesync... but this one did.... wat hav u donr bro? u somhow fixed this bt bug :O
Even though your post is quite old, I have tested 14 Jiggs roms and all of them have been able to connect Activesync via bt without any bug or problems.

Update - Just recieved my OLD XDA ATOM back from a cousin .. but unfortunately the screen is broken (:() .. ,I ll try and get it repaired provided its not that expensive .. , and if i do .. expect new ROM's :D
