Hw6515 dumped rom to SD-card with ntrw.exe

Hi all!
I get a hw6515 device without any rom. This is "engineering sample". I managed to write bigrom112.nb1 to sd-card, and I succesfully flashed it. But while it has no radio rom the gsm function is not working. And now he think, he is hw6510a. Can somebody upload somewhere his dumped rom? I hope, if i flash hw6515p rom(or something like that) and can upgrade the radio rom with the original hpRUU.exe. The perfect would be if you use 128 MB sd-card.

I get hw6515d rom. I sucessfully flashed it, and everything is ok. But I can not upgrade the radio rom with the latest original hp upgrade. I stuck at 0.1%. I tried an another upgrade, and step from 0.1% to 0.2% is 35 minutes. and other 30 minutes it jump to 0.3%. is it normal?

Yup radio rom upgrade takes a while. But if you find that it takes longer that a couple of hours, you radio stack may probably be screwed like alot of other people. Check out

You can also get a radiorom dump there and see if you can restore your radio stack from it but do this as a last resort.

As for the ipaq model, since you already have the bigrom image, you can hexedit it to change the model number. Instructions at http://blogs.unbolt.net/index.php/brinley/2007/07/09/howto_change_serial_number_and_model_num_6515

Thanks for the links,but I already read them.

I think the radio part is dead. I doesn't matter, my hw6515 is just a hobby-phone, because my primary phone is MDA Pro. I just want to "repair" it, and if it can be used as a phone too, I give it to my girlfriend, she like it. Now it is just pda with gps funktion. We use it in car with Igo.

Hello, I am new here. My IPAQ 6515 was dead after upgrade offial pacth HP. I search on every forum an bigrom image, to restore it via MTTY. Thank's for answer
