cant make this thing stay offline

got my phone today, and so far its great. except it will randomly connect to my service provider to go online, even when im using my wifi connection. how do i make it stop doing this. or how can i make it ask me to confirm if i want to connect?

There's a cab called "NoData" that you can install that allows you to toggle on/off the connections. I'll look for the link....

edit: here's a thread that contains MoDaCo's NoData cab (it works blocking my ATT connects on my Tilt)
