Is there a way to Press(not HOLD) activate Voice dial (PTT) from hands free

Just wondered any tweaks so the button on the hands free can be JUST PRESSED to voice dial rather than hold(seems take ages!!! to activate).:(

there should be, when i'm using my BT Head set (random cheap one) i can just press a button on that to activate voice dialing.
