Hi, I'm new on this forum and i'd like to know what are the difference between Treo 750v and Treo 750.
Also if i unlock a 750v is it possible to install a generic 750 ROM on it ?
Thanks for answer.

You are correct the v stands for Vodafone.
There is however another difference. The v has a visible LED while the one without the v only shows the LED when it is blinking.
Last thing is of course the branding of Vodafone versus a clean device for people who are owning the v-less version ;)
So in the end both devices are the same.

I have two "v" Treos, one has hidden led (voda uk), one has visible (voda ireland).

The 750 (hidden LED) has also a darker color on the display frame than the 750v
with visible LED.

Well then there even more the same :D

But that might be because of the paint the LED has to penetrate I guess..

Not led is darker, but paint all round screen. In "hidden" vesion it's more silver, in "visible" - lightgray.
