Unknown phone numbers

My M700 has stopped displaying the numbers of people not in my phone book. It used to show the number dialing even if I didn't have them as a contact, now it just shows up as unknown calling - does anyone know how to fix this??

Is this every single call that you get which is not in your contacts?

Some providers don't send the callers numbers and these come up as 'unknown', but this is different to 'withheld' when the provider can send the numbers, but the caller chooses not to. Are you just getting 'unknown calling'?

Otherwise, have you tried a soft reset - which tends to cure all minor problems?
