Keyboard problem on XDA Stellar using Dutty's touchflo rom (not the tilt one)

ok
this is what happened
i flashed dutty's rom
everything was fine and PERFECT
except for one thing
that is, when i use the keyboard in the touch pad screen,
u know, when i wanna type the person's name and the info filters out on the blue bit?
i realise that the letters are coming out wrong
note that this problem duzn't exist when using microsoft word or anything

so i took some ppl's advice and used the Tilt keyboard fix
well... it worked, but not quite

it DID fix the problem i encountered in the keypad
but now my function keys are messed up everywhere else
as in, when i wanna type "@" sth else comes out
and the rest of the symbols are screwed up too

i uninstalled the keyboard fix
and i'm back in square one

so now my situation is, either i have a screwed up keyboard in my touchpad
or i have messed up function keys

its the mixing of your device and certain roms...i'm thinking you gotta go with a rom that's specific to your device. kaiser roms will cause problems for tilt users and vice versa, or herald/p4350 will screw the t-mobile wing

Can someone please please please build a fix for the stellar? pls???
it's similar to the Tilt fix
jus the function keys tht are different
