This is really a question for meschle but somebody else might well know the answer. I would like to know after trying all previous versions from meschle what is the main difference (other then visual) between the two ROMS mention above?

Check the discriptions. There are a few different programs in each. Like the softkeys do not use the same default prog/menus on each ROM. Other than just those few, it's just the theme colors.
