Just wanted to note that I am also having the problem with callers getting "This user is not accepting calls at this time." It happens more than half the time, and isn't even from hitting the Ignore...the phone doesnt ring at all. I checked my VM settings and everything looks OK.

Also, my phone seems extremely slow with this ROM. Anyone else? It's especially noticeable switching between tabs in the control panel (settings..i call it the control panel). It takes about 3-4 seconds to switch between tabs. I turned wktasks off because it was annoying me, and that didnt seem to make any difference. I don't think there's anything else running on the phone, besides activesync of course. I see that no.7 is now available so i guess i'll give that a try. I definately love the ROM in general.

Has anyone tried to use stereo bluetooth with this rom with success. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one with the problem.

=========================================

At&T tilt, Dutty's Tilt ROM

I was able to install MS voice command but running it just doen't bring the speaker icon (though it does show up in notification, "say help for help" but nothing happens when I say something. Was working fine on original Tilt ROM.

Thanks.

Try this procedure and then use ms voice command.
Skip step #2 if you already have ptt button reassigned

Good luck

No. 7 gets released and the #6 thread falls to page two in one day! Wow.

So is anyone still resisting the switch to #7? If so, why? Is it the look? Is it some specific functionality? I'm trying to make up my mind... I have a few issues with 6, and 7 is tempting, but if 7 brings MORE problems (such as ugly graphics and a non-functional e-sword), then I'll just stick w/ 6.

Your thoughts?

am able to download file file, however when unzipping I get an error with winrar, winzip, winXP -

! C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\Dutty's NewBuild Rom N0.6 +NETCF 3.5 AT&T.zip: CRC failed in Dutty's NewBuild Rom N0.6 +NETCF 3.5 AT&T\Ruu_Signed.nbh. The file is corrupt

can anyone else verify?

yes, I have tried re-downloading file on different computer

Were you able to find a way to extract the rom files??

Hello Dutty.. anyone..

I've just downloaded (twice) the AT&T TouchFlo ROM 6 from your directed site and while either extracting the two files out to another folder or by just clicking the .exe file, I get a file is corrupt error. I'm using winRAR...

I searched the forum and only one guy seems to have this exact problem.. I've left him a msg as well for help.

This ABSOLUTELY SUCKKKKS.. man I'd planned to finally install the ROM and play with my phone all night... wtf..    Why me?? Why me????

i have a question , you did not set s2unlock at start up. I would like to know how to activate it so that it does activate on start up, you described creating a shortcut can you elaborate on this what file to place in the windows startup folder thanks sir great rom i had your version 7 but preferred this version better for overall performance and black themed style.

open file explorer...go to Windows --> Start Menu --> Programs --> System Tools

Copy the file iLock

go back to your windows folder then go to the folder Start Up and paste

this copies the shortcut for iLock (which starts and stops S2U2) from the start menu to the startup folder to it starts every time the OS loads.

Does anyone know where to put the updated Kaisertweak XML files? Thanks.

In the same folder as KaiserTweak.exe. Rename to kaisertweak.xml and overwrite your current XML file. (You need to re-apply all your settings)

Well, I'm downgrading as-I-type from 7 back to 6. I hate to "downgrade," but for some reason, e-sword won't run on 7. I've used 2, 4, and 6 and loved them all, so perhaps I'll just wait for 8 and assume that the evens work better for me!

I wasn't a fan of the dialer on 7 anyway, but I did like how transparent the HTC Home plugin was. Can I just adjust this using the HTC Home customizer program?
Also, there are some differences in apps and games. I can itemize them out later, but are there any apps in 7 that you all think would be worth hunting down and adding to 6? I know there are some games I'd like to hunt down - can anyone tell me a good resource to find free games like Tetris and ICBM?

Thanks... I'm sure I'll be back...

1. You can use HTC Home Customizer to make the background transparent!
2. Sorry, never used No.7 so I've no idea.

Here's some extremely nitpicky things. Probably not even worth addressing, but I have to ask:

"Hourglasses" - I've seen three, I think. On Dutty 4, there was a turquoise circle that spun. On Dutty 6, there's six grayscale dots that spun. On Dutty 7, there was a 4-color windows-esque hourglass. Can't remember what was on the factory Tilt ROM. Can you change between these? I'm using 6, which happens to be my least favorite of the three.
Startup screen - I know it's fairly easy to change the startup screen. But BEFORE the startup screen is something else - either the "smart mobility" or crappy AT&T 3G animation. Dutty 2 and (I think) Dutty 4 had "Smart Mobility" show up and then a small, animated, classy HTC logo. Dutty 6 and 7 both just say "Smart Mobility," no cute little HTC. Where did it go? Can you get it back?

Petty, I know. I don't even really care if these two things get addressed; just a crapshoot. But Dutty, you should really put the little animated HTC back on for future ROMs. ;)

R:eek:om no.7b will be uploaded reverted back to Rom no.6 default look.

with add dutty's {secret recipe tweak} performance and stability improved + more extra tweaks even for a bloated rom you will be surprised as how quick this puppy runs

Anyone else notice that with this rom battery life is AMAZING? I don't know maybe it's just me. I had the latest and greatest Dutty Tilt rom with the new radio, then downgraded my radio and flashed this super fast super stable rom. But over the past couple of weeks one thing I've noticed is that the battery life is 2 or 3 times better than it was on the Tilt rom. And I'm on 3g data syncing to a busy exchange server all day long every day. In addition I'm constantly walking about listening to streaming radio off the net with my bluetooth headphones blaring. I listen to music on the way in from work and the way home. The battery life is just astounding. Whatever you did, Dutty, it's breathtaking, well done.

I need some advice. I recently bought an Unlocked Tilt and will be sending it OVERSEAS to my brother. I'm very familiar with Kitchens and ROM's w/ my HTC Apache.

However, Im confused as to which ROM I should put on this Tilt to send to my brother. He's in Med School and is a noob when it comes to ROM's.

1) Which ROM would be best for him? It should have a good amount of features, but be the most stable.
2) Do the Dutty ROM upgrades include the latest Radio Upgrades?

I was going to install Dutty Lite Rom 6 but now it seems like Dutty 7 has been revised to be more stable. Which do you think is better for him to have?

Thanks in Advance!!! :)

I've tried several resets, I even restored a two day old backup made via spb backup and yes, have also gone into "connection setup" under connections and let it setup AT&T as my provider which subsequently asks for restarting the pda. Also, the HSDPA utility is still showing a check mark on HSPDA On.

All of the above have failed to get my phone back to 3G speeds. I've even tried to surf/download thinking maybe just the icon is showing "G" or "E" however its painstakingly slow now.

So, its either the "G" icon or "E" is what shows now. This all happened when I looked at my phone this morning after SPB backup had performed its scheduled backup that was triggered around 2:30am.

other than that... THIS IS AN AMAZING ROM BY DUTTYTHROY!! YOU RULE DUDE..

oh.. almost forgot: my radio is 1.27.14.09 which I've read that only works with the AT&T Tilt, which is what I have. Just an FYI.

Someone please help as I'm a heavy data user hence can't afford to be without 3G/HSDPA ...

UPDATE: I "downgraded" to the 1.27.12.17 Radio and its still showing "E"...

DUTTY... SOMEONE... PLZ HELP. :( :( :( :(

Hi everyone:

Not new to pocketpc's....have had them since ipaq....but new to the whole rom cooking / flashing bit.

So, here's my questions. Hoping others may have had experience with this.

So, I bought a tilt, unlocked it, and then flashed it with dutty's latest touchflo 7.b rom.

Now, previous to this, i had flashed it with the htc oem rom. With the htc rom, my tmobile edge settings worked without any problem...no proxy requried.

Now, after flashing with Dutty rom (which is waaaaayyy better than the oem rom), i have the problem of my edge not connecting. Even though the proper wap.voicestream.com setting is present.

Can someone please help? I know i don't need a proxy b/c with teh HTC rom, all was fine....please please point me in the right direction. I have searched and cannot find a solution.

The first thread of the new ROM should list the differences. I tried version 7 and went back to 6. 6 is the best, most stable, and classiest WM6 ROM out there, IMO. (Love the look of the working icon. Hated to see it go in v7. The included dialer could be nicer, though.)

Unless the next ROM has the look, feel, and programs of 6, I've flashed my last ROM to this Tilt. (And all the ROM available in the past 6 weeks have done their tours of duty on my Tilt.)

Can't get Destinator 7 working on dutty's No.6, which is a deal breaker for me.

Before the flash, I had Destinator 7 on memory card that was working on both AT&T and Hemli ROMs. After the flash to dutty's No.6 (AT&T w/Cube), Destinator crashes on startup and screws up the Windows titlebar so the entire titlebar is neither visible nor accessible via stylus. It's like something has overlaid the entire titlebar from the Start menu to OK/close and everything in between. Never seen anything like it. Installed updated Destinator version to main memory with same results.

Any suggestions?

Chefs can customize them, but so can you after-the-fact. Boot animation is an animated GIF, either 320x240 for portrait boot or 320x320 for both portrait/landscape. Actual filename and other attributes (e.g., startup sound) are at HKLM\Software\HTC\StartupAnimation, but GIF is usually \Windows\animation.gif. You can just copy your GIF on top of the ROM one. Also, second splash screen is a 24-bit PNG, usually \Windows\welcomehead.96.png (yes, two periods).

Wait cursors are installable, and most of the common designs are available from www.marshallskins.ilbello.com (http://www.marshallskins.ilbello.com).

I use VC 1.6 and it has worked on every ROM update I have done. Including this one. I use his new 7.b non-touch and find it to be the best so far. VC works there as well. You must install it to main memory and soft reset after the install to have it work.
If this does not work, then be specific in what "does not work" - can u execute it from programs? local button, bluetooth button?

Barry... Thanks and good questions.

The symptoms are that VC responds to the headset button push with a beep, but does not "talk" on the headset or on the phone speaker. The same is true when I use Schap's 4.21 ROM. However, on Schap's 4.21 it will at least execute the command.

I have now also tried your suggestion using D's 7b and it works as it is supposed to, with no problem. D's 7b, however, seems to have a couple of minor issues (for me anyway).

I would REALLY like to know exactly what the issue was with the others (D's & Schap's) so it's resolved. I also REALLY want to cook my own if I could just figure out what I did wrong there. Anyway, thanks Barry.

Dutty,

I was wondering about the 2-3 second delay I encounter on my "Tilts"...... is this something that is seen on most devices, or is it a ROM specific issue, and how does one go about, curing it? I have "Two Tilts", I have run several ROMS, including your No. 6 Version for AT&T, AT&T's stock ROM 1.27.12.11 radio & the New Unreleased AT&T 1.60 with the 1.27.14.09 radio AND they ALL have this 2-3 second delay at times..... likes it frozen for short period of time... I spoke with HTC and the support person I spoke to, seemed to indicate it's a WM6 issue & may be addressed in WM6.1 or WM7....... Since you one of the baddest MOFO chefs around, what say you???? Any ideas????

Gracias for you time,

Hi Dutty;
Great job, however I have noticed 2 annoying features that I hope you may help me fix:

1) When I am on the phone and another call is coming (call waiting), it does not allow me to ignore the incoming call. I instead see "Answer" on the left and "Send Text" on the right. If you could change the "Send Text" to "Ignore" that would be really cool;

2) How can I set the way Call waiting calls ring? I really hate the way it currently rings...An annoying continous beep-beep, beep-beep. Can you make call waiting to beep like once or twice and to be less intrusive?

Any ideas?

Thanks!!
