Let me introduce it,.


This is my second ROM after "O2 Atom WM6 Premium", and i gave my second ROM name "HTC Atom WM6 Premium",.


What makes me built it??
- It have new (OS CE 5.2.1948 Build 18508.0.7.0)


so, this ROM is for XDA ATOM or XDA ATOM PURE ONLY,.


Just like the first ROM, this is a clean ROM too, added:
- WM5Torage v1.78
- HTC Task Manager v1.5
- Adobe Reader LE
- Aero skin pack

Here is the upgrade procedure,.
1. Enter BootLoader menu (by pressing "Camera button + Reset button")
2. Connect XDA ATOM to PC using USB cable
3. Run "DSUU.exe" (located in "HTC Atom WM6 Premium" folder)
4. Perform Hard Reset when it finished


Well, this is not a perfect ROM, but this ROM could make you call anyone or send message to anyone,. :D
and If you found that this ROM is buggy, report / share it,.
Finally, if you dont like it, then remove it,.

what is your reason you remove the software that is usefully and not buggy?
here is the purpose of that stuff you remove:
"O2 Media plus" - it is for easy access RADIO, ALARM w/ MP3 soundz, WM player..
"Album" - for viewing it w/ thumbnails..
"photo editor" - for editing..
"self diagnostic" - for hardware malfunction and for becoming Atom to Flashlight..

tats the default theme u hav used... if u look @the texture, u'll see tat the texture is very much grained & not smooth... maintaining a good quality for the default theme would b nice cause it gets integrated everywhere :)

as far as today, i'm still using this ROM, and found no bugs yet,.

1) i set alarm yesterday... today @ alarm time, the fone displayed alarm message on screen.... no sound no vibration no screen flashing ....nothing...... !!!!!! i dont see any option anywhere to set/change those parameters

2) yesterday i got some notifications (misscall/sms/etc).... but before i could read those notifications, my battery died..... after i charged & switched on, the notifications were gone !!! now i hav no idea wat those notifications were :( this must b solved bro

These one are also happening in the latest ROM release by jiggs (AKU 0.7.0a)
So maybe you can build a pure new ROM for next release (not port it from the last ROM)

the days need to be highlighted for the alarm to activate.

man the alarm function works.... but only displays text on screen... no sound/vibro/flash :( u r lucky

& theres no need to goto settings--->system--->clocks and alarms--->alarms ....just touch the day/date/time area on today screen & it'll popup :)

I have tried the A2DP system on almost ALL roms in this forum for Atom. (Most are built on jiggs latest ROM)

I have full functionality of A2DP using the following headset :

So I guess, some headsets work just fine !

We all can feel that ROM-Developers r growing day-by-day and getting more and more powerful with every single release. Since O2 is not going to give a damm about the huge effort and time of the developers, why don't we make our developments more streamlined which can be more helpful to all of us.

Firstly, what we see now is different developers are releasing ROM with different CE versions individually with some more or less tweaks which makes a confusion which one to use?.

Secondly, different developers are releasing ROM with different softwares included (Ex - touchflo, srswowhd etc.) which make things really really confusing.

My proposal is why don't we do things more like a project and developers can work all together so that everyone can contribute, share new ideas, implement all tweaks etc.

What we can do is:
1. We can take the latest CE version and make it ready for ATOM with clean build. No third party apps, no nothing...
2. Then we build apps in a modular way which wil have installable .cab or .exe file which should be users choice to use or not.
3. We can continue bug fixing untill a new CE release.
4. With new CE release a new project will lunch.

Now all these are my personal feelings. I don't want to hurt any developers feelings. What i believe is unity is strength...

your feedback and opinion is appreciated

The extended rom is where the added applications are stored for your convenience, you may easily modify this yourself add/remove whatever you like... If you are confused by all the different versions and builds I suggest you take time to read and find out the fixes changes, moreover if you really want something specific from a ROM you could study up on how to cook your own, or a donation to a specific builder to cook you a custom ROM.

Diversity is the key to life and its also how we grow and learn new things.

Hi guys,
We all can feel that ROM-Developers r growing day-by-day and getting more and more powerful with every single release. Since O2 is not going to give a damm about the huge effort and time of the developers, why don't we make our developments more streamlined which can be more helpful to all of us.

Firstly, what we see now is different developers are releasing ROM with different CE versions individually with some more or less tweaks which makes a confusion which one to use?.

Secondly, different developers are releasing ROM with different softwares included (Ex - touchflo, srswowhd etc.) which make things really really confusing.

My proposal is why don't we do things more like a project and developers can work all together so that everyone can contribute, share new ideas, implement all tweaks etc.

What we can do is:
1. We can take the latest CE version and make it ready for ATOM with clean build. No third party apps, no nothing...
2. Then we build apps in a modular way which wil have installable .cab or .exe file which should be users choice to use or not.
3. We can continue bug fixing untill a new CE release.
4. With new CE release a new project will lunch.

Now all these are my personal feelings. I don't want to hurt any developers feelings. What i believe is unity is strength...

Okay, about this opinion,.

1st,.
Cooking a ROM, is divided into 2 folder, OEM and SYS,.
if we are cooking a new build, we need to change the whole sys folder only, you have to try move or placing the apps or some tweaks that will fix the ROM problem / bugs. (this is the difficult part, but we have to do this, to make you all, ROM user, feel comfort and happy with the release)

2nd,.
Most of ROM problem are from "baseapps, 0409, and rgu,.
well, if we want to have a new build, than something in the baseapps is error, we just need to change it to the working one, and its not an easy work to do this, it eats very long time during the updating process.

i think you have to try to cook your own rom with everything new inside, and feel, "how hard is it? making rom is very headaching, wasting time, then, after we upload it, many people shouting at me, told me that my rom is not 100% working perfectly,.

3rd,.
the cooker, cook everything what he like, thats why, if you like what he cook, use it, if you dont, dont blame or give a suckz comment on it,.

4th,.
for the kitchen,.i'll update my thread about how to cook,.i'll give the llink to download the kitchen, its not jiggs anymore,.

5th,.dont worry about a clean ROM,.
i always build a ROM clean and neat, it give you more speed,.

the equalizer is still there, i just didnt give the shortcut, you could open it in windows folder - "EQmain",.

for jeyo sms backup, i didnt cook it, because i have lost my message because of it,.

actually, the rom was named HTC, because of it feature, and it have very little O2 apps (i remove it, one by one, so, at the final, O2 branding, will be at the back of your atom (O2 logo) )

btw, if you want the touch version, you could try medkid release,.

tats the default theme u hav used... if u look @the texture, u'll see tat the texture is very much grained & not smooth... maintaining a good quality for the default theme would b nice cause it gets integrated everywhere :)

Hy nice work with this software it's great but I found a "bug":
I have some of the contacts with there birtstday writen in the detail of the contact and some of the contacts without birstday date.When I try to make an appoiment in the calendar and try to use the obtion "Attendees ... " I can only use the contacts witch don't have birstday date writen in the details of the contact ! If I remove the birstday date from one of the contacts witch I want to use for that appoiment a can put him in the "Attendees ... " ?
The second problem is the it losses the wireless Lan connection.(I testested at work standing near the wireless switch) works for 5 min great then losses the signal for some time then again works fine for some time.
The device is new (my friend from witch I took the phone never used,he haz a htc p3300 and this o2 xda atom was a gift).

What makes me built it??
- It have new (OS CE 5.2.1948 Build 18508.0.7.0)


so, this ROM is for XDA ATOM or XDA ATOM PURE ONLY,.


Just like the first ROM, this is a clean ROM too, added:
- WM5Torage v1.78
- HTC Task Manager v1.5
- Adobe Reader LE
- Aero skin pack

Here is the upgrade procedure,.
1. Enter BootLoader menu (by pressing "Camera button + Reset button")
2. Connect XDA ATOM to PC using USB cable
3. Run "DSUU.exe" (located in "HTC Atom WM6 Premium" folder)
4. Perform Hard Reset when it finished


Well, this is not a perfect ROM, but this ROM could make you call anyone or send message to anyone,. :D
and If you found that this ROM is buggy, report / share it,.
Finally, if you dont like it, then remove it,.

hi kumara i am new to this thread. i really do loves ur 2nd romyou have created.don get me wrong because all your roms is so nicely done and i prefer to get a much clean rom that is near to original. i wanted to check with you if i will be able to remove some of the application that has be preinstall by you on the 2nd version which u name it " HTC O2 ATOM kumara wm6 premium " ??

all i wanted to remove is HTC taskmanager as i am using a O2 one which i think is more suitable for me..

one more issue is i try to search for your first original O2 Atom kumara WM6 Premium. the link was down and unable to download.. i wanted to try that as i think it will be alike as a O2 atom which people just bought.

Out of all the roms that i have used for my O2 Atom, this has to be the best for me, as it's fast, and touch wood, no problems or issues at this stage. I have tried Wm 6.1 roms, however i feel this is not as stable as i would like it to be.
I have tried all of Pdaviet roms, and Garmin roms, but i always come back to this one. However I am always looking out for a better one. I may even try making a rom myself, when i work out how, as i seem to follow the guides, but it never seems to get further than splitting a rom into seperate files.
