AT&T rom vs. Kaiser rom

obviously i'm a noob here and have some questions.
1. What is the difference between the kaiser rom from the att rom? (i know the kaiser rom doesn't have the bloat ware which is a real drag)
2. Can you edit the roms ie. add/remove programs using Hard-SPL?

That is very true i'm about to try dutty's touchflo 6 with cf 3.5. i heard that it performs pretty well. what do you think of it?
