SPV M5000 power light flashing

:( I have not used my SPV M5000 for quite some time and now when I try to charge the device the power light just continuosly flashes and I cannot power on the device even after 2 hours.
Any thoughts?

Try order a new battery if the flash light is red

Are you using the wall charger or USB?
When you get below 10 percent on my 5000 it will only let you charge via mains.

happened to me a few days ago too, red blinky light, power wasnt getting through, until i had to do a hard reset (the 2 buttons and the reset button) and format it, it powered back up after it had been cleared and began to charge again which was nice :), i guess that red light was actually telling me my rom was corrupt but also now the orange charge light flashes from time to time and i have no idea at it, if its not too much to loose then hard reset it because that fixed my 02 xda exec, unless its the connector in the phone meh
