Official T-Mobile and Telecom own by T-Mobile show possibility to change WM5 to WM6 without pay.
Build is newer to HTC ( 17745) from T-Mobile is 18125.

i own a t-mobile(ger)-ameo, but my s/n will not accept from t-mobile(ger), because the s/n is not valid, and not on the htc-page, because the device is no htc-device.

I just got my ameo a week ago and already upgraded to wm6 through that link
t-mob alos updated a ton of other handsets FINALLY
including the vario II to wm6 , and a newer wm5 for the universal


BTW NOTE TO THOSE THAT USE REMOTE DESKTOP
UK T-Mobile firmware for WM6 appears to have it MISSING, i even tried hard reset and let it configure again and thought even the missing icon problem that was still present even in wm6 ( icons go AWOL) was the cause. it's not i had to actually install it from scratch ( there's a cab on this forum under i think it was development and hacking, just search for it )

Careful - technically you need a serial number to download the Tmob ROM so this may count as warez.

Could a moderator please ponder this point.

nope all there but i noticed they left out remote desktop client which i got else where
and it works awsome as i now can remote to my vista pc. 2 trys on that though cause the jasjamming version would transmit the keyboard strokes only mouse movement and actions

i have a problem with this new ROM:

Verry often i have no sound on my Ameo. I have to softreset the device to get sond bac. its bad, when i gets calls and dont hear them.
Do anyone of you have the same problem???
