Double files/folder fix 4 old fashion big storage?

Is there a quick fix for the double file/folder name? It is also nagging me about not finding the recorder folder in some cases. I think it's related.

I have obtained the big storage the old school way. Now I know that there is a new ROM available, however, I don't want to spend too much time to reinstall all the stuff.
