We all know there are various Carrier versions of the 'Kaiser' out in the field and all seem to have different problems (mainly caused by carrier applied cabs!). It appears the US 'Tilt' guys got the short end of the stick...

But before you throw your phone in the bin, check out the Mindsoft site and download their trial...Just see what rubbish you have left in your 'Kaiser' from all those tested cabs and carrier bloatware.

Remember, even our PC's need a clean up at times!!

OH, and before anyone jumps in, This has nothing to do with the so called display driver ommission so don't even bother to get on your soapbox here....

BTW, install the VGA version from the zip file.

The first thing I did after getting my Tilt was install the HTC ROM on it. I didn't even bother trying out the Tiger Woods demo. I tried the pool game and couldn't use the controls. Isn't there a way to prevent the crap from installing the first time you boot it?

So as a "Tilt" guy I find your posts very annoying. I don't want to start one of your little wars that you seem to want to start on every thread you are in. Maybe instead of directing a thread toward Tilt users you should direct it towards people that don't bother doing anything themselves. Or people that deem themselves not worthy to think. Personally I have installed just about every ROM out and tried them each with the software I prefer to run. And yes MemMaid happens to be one of those programs. So instead of insulting people because their Tytn2 happens to say ATT on it and it doesnt have a camera on the front of it maybe you should direct all of the negative things you have to say into a more positive outlet. And just so you don't feel inclined to respond to this thread I will not be reading this thread again. Thank you for your time. :)

Why do you say install the VGA version? Shouldn't we install the QVGA version?

My Kaiser arrives today (that's why I'm up early :) ) so I haven't had time to check it out yet, but I expect it works in a similar way to the Hermes.

With the Hermes, most (or all) carrier specific apps were loaded from extended ROM. This can be edited (if the ext rom is unlocked and unhidden) which allows you to select which bloatware is loaded. You need to edit the config.ini file to say what is and isn't loaded - it's quite straightforward, but sorry I can't find the posts which give examples.

You'll need to check this out on your own for now 'cos I don't have my Kaiser to check if this is the same - unless someone more experienced can say whether this is the same or different for Kaiser/Hermes.
