NEW ROM OS 5.2.1948 TouchFlo Edition RC2 for Atom Exec

PLEASE ATTENTION, THIS IS ROM FOR ATOM EXEC ONLY...!!!

First i want to say thankyou for jiggs (The Starter WM6 for Atom), for chartreux (The Starter WM6 for Atom Exec), my buddy Garmin and all others member in this we beloved forum... Glad to share with all

About this ROM:
- SYS Packaged: Ported from Universal.
- XIP Core Upgraded: Ported from Trinity ( OS 5.2.1948) thx Garmin for idea...
- ROM Revisions: QuickMenu 2.7 (tnx for nanling), Games Add-on by Tuma, New STK Module (Working Perfectly), Smart Notepad (I'm forget who's creator, but thanks for this program), Cube FtouchFlo+Config 100% working without htc home plugin installed and all parameters ported for atom (Thanks for Kona_Mtbkr and Schap's for this greatfull program), Wait Animation by Marshall and more (read System Info).
- ExtendedROM: Intelidialler, Resco Explorer 6.17, Resco Registry Add-in, Smart Movie 3.31, Transcriber, Intellipad and more (read System Info).
- Pagepool: 6MB.
- Mini SD Supported: 1GB --->Supported | 2GB --->Supported | 4GB --->Not Tested
- Known Compatible App: Same with jiggs version.
- Known Uncompatible App: EasyTweaks2: Error when opening app, Lingvosoft Dictionary: Bugs on PIE when push back button and freeze until SR.

- What's New:
*I had change WAV module from other device and tweaks registry for best quality sound (My Atom Exec not to be loudness now:) ),
*Change some modules for a2dp but i don't have bluetooth headset, so i'm not tested yet:p ,
*I had remove SMS Background from this ROM, but u can create your own images(240x268) save as smsbgr.gif and put it to Windows,
*and others


- Notes: When Morscript installed from ExtendedROM, don't select ok button if some app required a soft reset. If u want use built-in TouchFlo and QuickMenu on your device, please select yes when first time this start.

Yes. About 23-24mb after startup. You can hibernate with quickmenu. Since all the cube options is loading at startup, so we can open all the cube option w/o lags:)

i just update my atom, but there is something wrong with this cooked ROM.

after updating, ROM version is OS 5.2.1413 (build 18508.0.7.0)..... but it should be OS 5.2.1948....

anyone can help, what is this problem?

It seems that the audible sound gets cut off after a few hours of usage. Means that there is no sound from the device's speakers either when the phone's ringing or playing any music. This does not concern Bluetooth. Bluetooth works fine though.
Only way to get the sound back is to soft reset the device.
I tried this ROM on 02 Atom Execs, both are having the same problem.

Hmmm not quite sure though. Normal bluetooth headset works fine. I'll try it later on my other bluetooth stereo headset and update you later.

Please scroll your screen slowly, maybe it's caused ftouchflo conflict

the sensitivity on this touchflo is not very user oriented. it doesn;t really change immediately, the user needs to try it couple of times before the cube changes.

This will not be fixed until someone writes a new A2DP driver for the Atom/Atom Exec.

rc2 is good interface but many bug and slower that rc1. i have used it and i can say that abusalza did the great job .plz help to fix bug on A2DP and the freeze of PIE (it freeze when access to internet)

That's right, but when I'm using Wisbar advance destop and my post directory WAD file was on "storage card" it's become a problem when it change to "memory card"...

Thanx to abuzalsa for advising me in turning back to "storage card" and I'm waiting for another latest version.....

#1 - Tasks -> Can't filter with Active Tasks:
I got total of 15 tasks, where 4 of them is not Active (meaning no due date).. at the Today screen, it does indicate 11 Active tasks... but at the Tasks program, activating the filter with Active Tasks and deactivating it, give the same result... where I don't face this problem with WM5..

#2 - MiDi file as Ringtone
I like to use MiDi file as ringtone, as it is small size and very loud... however, after flashing this ROM, the sound of the MiDi file is very different when you playback as ringtone, as compare to playback from MediaPlayer..

Hi Guys,

I am a newbie for ROM flashing, so please bare with me if my question is really basic. Just started googling on how to update my Atom Exec to WM6 and discovered this GREAT forum.

I flashed my Atom Exec with this ROM and it worked like a charm. But, I am at loss on how to enable the TouchFlo interface. When I looked at the TouchFlo config it says "enabled", but the interface is still standard WM. How do I get the TouchFlo interface up & running? Am I missing something really basic here?

Also, the device freezes when I install the HTC Home plugin. I really like the HTC Home. Isn't it compatible with this ROM?

This means that u do a hard reset, then when the installation starts install every thing before SR. U will get your touch flo as I got it in my Atom Exec, thanks to abusalza.:D

After the flash completed, I hard reset & waited 30 seconds, then soft reset & select "use TouchFlo" when the pop up message came out but still cannot get to the cube interface. It is still showing the standard wm6 interface.

Can fellow experts point out more detailed steps after the flash complete or what am I missing out. Much appreciated & thanks.
