thank you for your information, the decimal point it is present in the calculator in the bottom part.
Aemm... My english is not so great so maybe i was not clear...
I know that the decimal point is located at the bottom of the calculator and when i press it, it works, only there is no "skin" on that portion. The rest of the calculator is ok.
Oh yes, i also have no idea how to modify the registry on the touch to correct my problem... Please, anyone , let me know where is it?
Thanks again

Hey poorlyduck, one got to tell you that you have done an excellent job with the theme! It makes my PPC look awesome!
But one question/problem here, I can't get the Audio Manager to work, I'd really like to use it because I'm sure it's the latest version with the scroll feat, but when I open I get the good ole "not trusted" erroe. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I had the previous Audio Manager setup from your prev version, then uninstalled, but it did say it didn't completely remove. I have OEM ROM.

Thanks for the great suite. I've tried other cube skins, but looks like I'm going to stick with this one for now.
+1 to the request for a dialer skin for Sprint (CDMA) Touch. I like the skinned appearance but am really concerned I won't be able to call 911 when I have that eventual heart attack. Please help me save my life.

can you post the screenshot of your calculator so I can see?
Sorry, our digital camera is unavailable right now... unless there's some kind of "printscreen" i can do...
I can describe what i see to you:
First, you should know that i just replaced the data from today's update and the color filling the space of the missing key has changed just like the new screen.
It really looks like the full decimal key is missing and i can see a light blue rectangle that is probably the layer just under the top skin layer... (exactly the same color as new calculator's screen color: transition of light blue to a bit darker blue)
Hope that helps a bit, and thanks again!
I was finally able to edit the registry, this forum is an endless ressource!

the dialer for touch sprint users is available in my suit, you just need to backup your data, locate the folder "CDMA Touch users" and open the "CDMA dialer touch users" then move all the graphics to /windows folder, it keeps the same funcionality of your dialer, it just changes the look. Its not good for the Mogul.

Hi,
I have tried unsuccessfully to download the app from Rapid share! there seems to be a problem with Rapidshare and people trying to download from South Africa, is there another mirror for the app? every time I try download it says I am already downloading a file, when I most certainly am not!

Hi PD,
I uninstalled the older version of Audiomanager that I had working (Xplode's) and tried to use your .CAB. It installs OK but when I try to run it, I get an error message about not being signed. I guess I'll have to go back to the older version and just install your graphics.
Also, the calculator CAB doesn't install, and the png files don't help. What I finally did was open the png files, saved them as .gifs, and then copied them into the windows directory. This worked and I got the new calculator skins.

this can be made to work with the mogul if you use Paul's big button dialer that was previously linked. Keep in mind he set it up where the graphic files go into a folder in root called \Phoneskin not \windows (makes it easiser to work with actually).
A quick and unpolished way to make this work with Paul's dialer is to use a graphics program like photoshop or paint shop pro, etc. and open up the background picture and paste all the buttons onto the background image. Then change the registry on paul's dialer to not display any numbers on and it will look fine. It just won't look polished when you have a button pressed down.
PD, i can mess with this later when I get to my mogul at home if you want.

Yeah I'm not able to use the new version either, but for the graphics, simply copy all the graphics (should be in graphics folder in package you downloaded) into the \windows directory. When asked to overwrite, yes.

Ok. But all the files of the program are located in a map in \program files\Audio Manager. Don't know why but maby that's why this version works for me...
And the files in the map that i downloaded have unknown endings (look at the screenshot). Should i rename them (to what?) and then copy them?

I'm gonna take a guess, but looks like the files are extracted directly from the cab vs installing the cab, if that's the case install it directly to main memory and the .png files should be in your windows directory. It looks that it's an extracted cab from the .### extension vs the .png

I meant Vista Dialpad for Mogul
Ok, since I didn't hear from PD, I hope it is Ok to post this. Here is how you can have a dialer like this for your Mogul (graphics taken from this Suite...credits of course goes to PD)
1. Install Paul's dialer from pdaphonehome
http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6800-xv6800/91652-sprint-native-big-button-dialer-theme-here.html
Soft reset.
2. Make the following registry changes (backup if you want):
If any of these variables do not exist then just create it (DWORD).
(hides Digits text)
HKLM/Security/Phone/Skin/Dialer/Portrait (Landscape)/dialbutton/MajorFlags = 1024(dec) or 400(hex)
(hides abc's letters text)
HKLM/Security/Phone/Skin/Dialer/Portrait (Landscape)/dialbutton/MinorFlags = 1024(dec) or 400(hex)
(hide Call history text)
HKLM/Security/Phone/Skin/Dialer/Portrait (Landscape)/verbbutton/textFlags = 1024(dec) or 400(hex)
Remember to repeat the above registry edits for Landscape as well as noted in parentheses above.
Again, if any of these variables do not exist then just create it (DWORD).
Edit: If you updated to the latest Sprint ROM, then you need to change one more value:
(fix voicemail icon on new rom)
HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\EnableV oicemailIcon = 0
optional:
(change text color on Progress Page)
HKLM/Security/Phone/Skin/Progress/Portrait (Landscape)/verbbutton/textColor = FFFFFF (hex)
Also, in my experience, registry changes takes some time (like 15-30 sec) to actually overwrite. Don't soft reset or close your registry editor right away. That's why i put this step second instead of third. If you see that the changes you made revert back or weren't created after a soft reset, the reason is you didn't give it time to "write" yet.
3. Download the zip file below. Extract and copy the files to your device root directory called \Phoneskin which was created by Paul's dialer. Overwrite when prompted.
Soft reset and that's it!
Conceivably, steps 2 and 3 could be made into a cab, but I don't know how to make cab's.
Also, if PD wants me to remove this, I will grant his wish, but just figure he would appreciate helping out with the CDMA crowd.
BTW, if you are a sprint mogul owner and have not installed Paul's dialer, keep in mind it does not affect 911, smartdial, or ##***# functions. It is the BEST dialer out there for Mogul and the only dialer you should ever try to install if you want to keep these functions.
Lastly this is only for Sprint Mogul users. Don't know how it will work with other Titan/ppc6800 users. This is NOT for Sprint Touch users. Instructions for that is in the suite's folder included in his most recent update download (on the first page).

Comm Manager will have been running. There is no easy way to kill it (without Soft reseting).
If you use Battery Status you can Click and Hold on you operator name (i.e. O2) and it will exit CommManager.

Hi PD!
Looks like the design is really your business... And you are great at it!
But, from all that i read on this forum, you seem to spend more time helping people installing their skins on their PPC than you did on creating them...
Have you tought of working with emunutz on a HTC cube customizer? I know he just finished V1.0Final of HHC... Now that he has free time on his hands... ;)
Then, you could concentrate on making other great skins ! :D

New to this so please no flames! Went through install procedure and followed all embedded instructions. Installed in this order:
vista cube
htc home customizer
audio manager
HTC Home
Slither
comm manager
dialer
action
Pocket CM
Pocket CM Skin
The problem I have is even though I have changed the FTouchFlo to the slither app I get the vista cube and do not have the ability to get to the launcher of slither. I can run action screen from \programs but it is not on th cube. Everything else is working including audio manager (which I noticed some folks had issues with)
Any help would be appreciated.

Work in progress...
Asked Poorlyduck, but I guess he's to busy. Had to try it myself.
It's (the Dual Touch 3G Video dialer) the hardest dialer I ever came across to skin, and the way it works it will never be perfect. Anyone with a 3G connection who can give me all the screen shots a Video Call can have? Right now I'm unable to make a videocall, so I'm don't even know what screen to expect.
Thanks,
Cheers,

In the screenshots on the first page, it looks like there some text at the very top of the action screen, but on mine its just an empty square.
Anyone else have this problem?
Edit: I run it on a HTC Touch Cruise, original rom.

I don't have that problem, there must be an issue the text size maybe, or just the files itself. Anyhow all it supposed to say id "Dial a contact and......" Something like that, and even if I hit it, there is no function to it, so your not really missing anything except some text.

I just flashed to an english ROM and now its ok. Apparently it didn't play nice with the original Swedish ROM.
Calculator still doesn't have a decimal key tho :)

For the calculator decimal issue!
I personally never had this issue, but have seen numerous post on it. Don't have a reason, but try reinstalling the calc app and reditribute the graphics to the windows directory. For the ones who already did that, look back a few pages for the file poorlyduck attached, not sure if it'd the same, but try it.

If you can't get the codes to work then try going to your Windows folder and clicking on the EPST shortcuts. You should be able to find them all. If not dig deeper into Systems folder

The icons in the call history do not match the theme. They are a HTC black/grey color like the HTC Touch.

You are unable to install because Comm manager is running in the background. You have 2 choices to handle this: either kill the comm manager process or do a soft reset and then install before you do anything else.

Poorlyduck,
I have enjoyed this suite tremendously and so many thanks go out to you for this.
One suggestion i would like to make for the next suite (hopefully the dark blue black type theme)is how you you do keypress down like on calculator and dialpad. You have the light blue green highlight on the lower part of the key, which makes logical sense since it has the appearance that it is where you have touched the key has lit up. But, practically speaking, I woul dlike to see the highlight cover more of the upper part of the key for visual feedback that you have pressed the key, since the lower part of the key is hidden by your finger.
Again, just a small request for you to think about.

Thanks a million... it's easy when you know how ;)
One final question now that everything has installed OK...
The icons on the right hand side of my title bar have changed (which is fine) but the battery indicator doesn't appear to work properly. It permanently displays full power and the icon doesn't change when connected to my PC via the USB cable. I have soft reset and re-installed the skins to no avail. Is this normal? Is there a fix? If not, is it possible to revert back to my original WM6 title bar icons?
Cheers - Jon :)

very nice work !! I love.
I didn't check the whome 60 pages of this thread so I don't know if someboday did ask before but could you release the 6 bitmap for the cube (those with sms, clendar etc) without any graphics. just the background so all the people who changed the cube application could make the good bitmap for them.
Exemple : IE - > opera, I know I myself did put 1 translator app and 1 dictionnary.
Anyway thanks for all your job !!

Forgive my noobish ways :p, but i am trying to get my head around all of this and could use a point in the right direction. I want to install PD's vista color schemes; the black theme i have right now from K's WM6.0 Full (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350695&highlight=in+call+num+key+lock+rom) is hard to see and i'd just like more color.
PD's scheme is HOT...
It seems to me that some things are just colors or png's that i install over another png, but for the apps I'm wondering...before i start figuring out how to get it all loaded, would i be better to install this whole suite on a cleaner ROM, or if it really doesn't matter and i can just load it OVER the things i don't want right now and it shouldn't matter. My biggest concern is to not slow down the functionality of my ROM
I don't have cube or touchflo installed right now so if i don't put them on, should the rest of PD's suite go on pretty smoothly? any links to threads or help in the right direction would be much appreciated. thanks,

I second (or third) this. if you have the time that is. this is truly the most amazing theme i have ever seen for wm6, and im sure that if u were to make an attempt at a charcoal color theme with maybe like glassy transparent bars, it would be just orgasmic :)

I have created a Splash screen to go along with your theme.
All you would need to do is rename it to match the same name of your original Splash Screen and then copy it to your /windows directory to overwrite your original one.
The original file is in the ZIP file. Enjoy;)

There are two ways to get the dialer too look like poorlyducks dialer.
You can either install the CAB and backup all the image files that where installed by the dialer. Then uninstall the CAB and install the Big_Button_Dialer found in this forum, once you have done this copy all of the backed up imaged back to the /windows directory and it should skin your dialer.
Or you can head here and find a dialer that you might like or request one.

I have been working on installing a Touch Cube on my phone. I started with SCLPF_UNO_1-62-FTOUCHFLO-FlashLite, but removed that to install Slither's SCLPC+ 0.51 Final. Once I installed Slither's SCLPC+, I then installed Poorlyduck's Vista Cube, using the full cab and not the graphics only. However, when I installed both, I only get 3 sides of what is supposed to be a 4 sided cube. I don't know why, but the 4th side, the 3X4 program screen, doesn't show up. My question is, why isn't the 4th side showing up? Have I installed something incorrectly?

1. I don't know if the version of the cube you are using allows you to customize it or not, but there should be a cube program / menu where you can assign things to each side of the cube.
2. The action screen is a shortcut program to new contacts, new sms - email, tasks and so on. It helps you cut time trying to dig through each menu.
You can use this with another program that allows you to map programs to the softkeys / shortcuts in the bottom of your home screen to map the Action screen to your home menu.

GORGEOUS!!!!!
I love this work so much.
However, I have a problem of Toucg-scroll after install new skin on my HTC Touch.
I installed poorlyduck's vista audio manager to my HTC Touch (which has a default version of audio manager in ROM already)
And the vista audio manager could not replace the current one. At that time audio manager could not work. Whenever I tried to open it, it popped up a message says
"The file 'AudioManager' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
After that, I uninstall the vista audiomanager and the default audiomanager of my Touch work again.
Later, I get the vista theme for audiomanager by overwrite all its graphic files.
It works fine and beautifully untill now I realize that the library of it doesn't support touch-scroll anymore.
Other program in my Touch still can touch-scroll (window media player, contacts, explorer, etc)
Anyone of you have an idea how to fix this?
THANKS ALOT

Place the file without uncompress it in Pocketcm folder. Don't forget you have to use the version 0.20 and not the last one.

ok so i downloaded the vista suit in your first post, got a bunch of folders and instructions.. which ones do i install?
-how the heck do i install a cab? (yesterday i found out how to flash a rom, so bear with me, and i still do not know where to put ftouchsl folder)

25th July 2008, 06:50 PM
Use cabinstl, it's freeware, and it'll do the work for you... alternatively, you can get SKTools and it'll do the same, and more...
passionettez, you'll lose the dialer you currently have... If you want to revert back, you'll have to resend and reinstall the cab for the dialer from your PC

Step 1. Open a file explorer, i.e. File Explorer
Step 2. Click on cab file
Step 3. There is no step 3
Also, all the files include instructions.

I love this theme bundle and wish there was a lot more variety and selections so neatly arranged as this post. I was wondering if you considered expanding the colors on this to maybe a Black suit? I would love to use a black theme made in the same manner as the Vista Suit here. Thanks in advance.

I installed the the Cube skin and the install went perfect but the only problem is that the first screen didnt get skinned, well it shows the vista skin for about 1 second then reverts back to the original cube skin, and the other 2 sides of the cube are vista skinned.

Dear Sir
i've p3600 (trinity) with your great suite on, but i'd like 3g video dialpad too. There's any hope in your next release (when you update the suite for pocketCM too)?
Thanx a lot.

First- the problem:
I'm running the very pretty HTC audio manager that came as a CAB with the vista skin, and I get the error message:
"Can't load ACC decoder"
The audio manager runs fine though, (only tested for ~8min though) and I can't figure out where the ACC decoder should be... I didn't even know audio manager had ACC support but all my music is mp3 now so that is irrelevant. I used the another version of audio manager (don't know what version) and there were no problems there. It came with Helmi's WM6.1 pro kitchen.
At the moment it seems like a minor annoyance with an error mesage on opening... But a forum in the old archives mentioned a problem with a crash after 2 minutes with the audio manager? weird!!! :S
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. :D
PS: I'm running this skin on a WM6.1 flashed HTC Apahche at 624MHz and it's amazing. The cube is great and the skin is better than anything microsoft have ever done. The fact that ur doing this for free and the benefit of the mobile community is unreal.
PPS: How do i donate? :p

In the screenshots on the first page, it looks like there some text at the very top of the action screen, but on mine its just an empty square.
Anyone else have this problem?
Edit: I run it on a HTC Touch Cruise, original rom.
I have this problem but I am using the Touch-IT ROM based on all these skins, anyone know how to fix it?

I'm kinda a noob when it comes to this, the most I've done is download Diamond TF3D Config and install a couple themes. There's two things I want to know.
1. How do I install this onto my Fuze?
2. Is there any way to get a generic internet graphic instead of IE, (I use opera mobile)?

This suit cannot be installed on your Fuze because it is designed for a QVGA screen. You have a VGA screen so it will not work. Ceck out this thread. Slither is planning to write new software for VGA devices.

I installed the PDS Dialer on my Samsung Omnia and it works really well. I then tried to remove it and I am receiving the following error message.
poorlyduck PDS Dialer was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs? Yes or No.
I tried clicking both of them and neither of them work. Thanks in advance for your help.

great work poorlyduck! everything seems to be working fine on my at&t tilt... only question is what is the action screen? i downloaded it, don't know exactly where it should go? in some folder? like touchflow cube folder? it's just all by itself. there were no instructions that came with that part. oh, if we want to use slither's cube, do we have to uninstall your vista cube or will it just automatically override the vista one and work? other than that, it looks good! thanks to you and all developers involved.
